You could re drill 288mm to 4 x 100? MK3 VR6 288mm and MK4 288mm disks have different offsets, you'd need to dry fit with pads before drilling. Fiat coupe non turbo 284mm disks are 4 x 100 but need the centre bore opening out to fit VAG hubs and are the correct offset for the 288mm calipers.

Looks like you have 288mm brakes and 280mm disks? If so the pad will over hang the disk and in some cases the disk will over heat and the pedal will go to the floor when used in anger

I did my mk2 with threaded bar and a piece of 4 inch steam pipe (slightly crushed) too, tensioned followed by a tap with a hammer and repeat x lots. I cleaned out the orifaces and lubed the bushes too to help them home. If the axle is off the car a normal hydraulic press should do the job also?

Its not sold until he's holding the money and the car has gone. The number of idiot bidders (note, not buyers) on ebay is only exceeded by idiot sellers arranging bids on their own items.........

You need to quote the part number to be sure of getting a similar unit as the connector plugs differ depending on part number and won’t fit your loom.

Wossner, J E and Wiseco have all made oversize pistons in the past. I think I’ve read that the weights can differ between brands?
