NEW Corrado genuine VAG pair of roof mouldings / trim on ebay
Dox replied to Andy T's topic in Parts for Sale
There are currently 4 options, used, karmannski reps, VW Classic reps or New Old Stock. It’s really good that we have such options and differing prices / qualities to chose from? -
Nope. Classic green was a standard Corrado colour

Burnt insulation contains nasty stuff, never handle with bare hands, if it gets inside your blood stream its amputation time. Gloves every time
-
Its about £60 and takes a few weeks for the certificate from Germany.
-
What would you pay for it?
-
Is it for sale anywhere else?
-
I think you need 6 posts before you can post links / pics etc Green or blue?
-
That's lovely
-
Charge it, prove it will start the car then disconnect it for a similar period its been left for in the past. Reconnect, if it starts you have a drain issue (interior light, boot light, glovebox light or radio are the common battery drains).

Got any pics online anywhere?

12.1V would struggle to turn over an engine with compression, I always try to compare voltages on several cars to ensure the readings its giving are meaningful
-
They're weekend codes, but they've had them every weekend for the last 18 months or so. If you join their mailing list they sent them to you every week

What offer? lol. The old pump was faulty (multiple inlet / outlet valve issues), I swapped for one with a different part number, swapped the pedal sensor too a while later and its been perfect since. The problem with ignoring the light is everything else goes tits up too so its multiple issues, its had wheel sensors and I've also trial fitted ECUs too

The one now fitted to my car The one I removed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
I fitted one with a different part number to mine, I still have the old one in the garage loft so can get some info for you Tuesday onwards.

There's loads of MK4 / Seat / Skoda bits being sold on Facebook in various groups

Dear Mr Opie, I believe these are similar to the now extinct Corrado items, would you be willing to help us confirm they could be adapted to fit Corrados please? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Insert-fog-Light-Unit-fits-BMW-Right-Halogen-H3-HELLA-1NB-123-582-001-/162112229210 In the first instance just measurements then if vaguely compatible maybe supply some for a trial fit? Not me, mine are in fine fettle. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?101747-Fog-light-reproduction&p=1172708#post1172708

Worse than smashed / rusty ones? I seem to remember them looking slightly, slightly narrower and longer than OE?
-
Opie oils sell them. Hella branded http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Insert-fog-Light-Unit-fits-BMW-Right-Halogen-H3-HELLA-1NB-123-582-001-/162112229210 Maybe Opie would accept sale or return for a trial fit?

These correspond to the Volvo / Saab part number posted several years ago - not done it myself so can't guarantee they fit http://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/1305354933.htm?pn=1-305-354-933-INT
-
I thought it was Saab? they looked a bit wonky as I remember?
-
Ask your Corrado insurer if they will "mirror" your NCB to your intended daily, if its cheaper than your current set up you're a winner.
