  1. Driving between Filey and Pickering (Yorkshire) earlier today I spotted a Blue Corrado (Storm?) in a garden with the bonnet open with several people looking under the bonnet - I think there was a MK3 on the drive too?
  2. Have you tried jacking the wheels off the floor to remove tyre resistance then turning lock to lock? If still stiff, undo the trackrods from the knuckles, wheels back on move them a full sweep by hand with the rack disconnected to prove ball joints / top mounts aren't seized. At least then you've proved its not mechanical issues and you can concentrate on the PAS assembly.
  3. The sender will be matched to the gauge so one from a different manufacturer will most likely give an erroneous reading on the gauge
  4. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282467591250 I've seen a few mention improvements in lifter noise after using this, not tried it myself though
  5. So if I posted you a cheque for £1385 for delivery after 8th Sept would that be agreeable to you?
  6. Sad times http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vw-Corrado-1-8T-K04-conversion-1992-/162624722512?hash=item25dd305650:g:8-kAAOSwsS1Zi0Gf
  7. On my MK3 I ripped the paper cone off and used mastic to glue the tweeter to the centre of the old speaker (presuming the grills clear the new tweeters in situ?).

    312mm Carriers

Just make a fake profile for hobbies etc
  10. I run mine up to temperature yesterday, I wouldn't describe the throttle as heavy?

    312mm Carriers

    I've got 3 pairs, but don't want to sell just carriers. https://www.facebook.com/groups/428322624165682/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/725668784159423/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/1580234235590145/

    312mm Carriers

There's various TT forums on facebook where breaking is rife (a bit like Corrados 5/6 years ago), 180 and 225s both have 312s, you'll need 6mm thick washers as spacers due to the offset of the discs and 16" wheels minimum (there are apparently some 15s that will just clear).
  13. The pics no longer show, photobucket no longer supports 3rd party forum hosting unless you pay them

What they said /\/\/\/\ Any pics from the day you bought it?
  15. I think its called RTV? Oil resistant silicon, clean the oil pick up while you're there. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Car-Parts/6030/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=rtv+silicone&_sop=15
  16. There's no gasket on the 20V, its sealed with goo. Not too much otherwise it eventually breaks off and blocks the oil pick up.
  17. Why not put some new pics up (the originals have been blocked for third party posting by photobucket) and a price?
  18. I only use it for pics, dreadful to browse with.............
  19. A used lens, indicator and throttle cable would cost less than £100. Non of which are exactly urgent purchases, so biding your time you could pick up bargains?
  20. Does the oil pressure light work on the dash? Ign on it should flash? and go off when running?
