  6. 54mm pistons on both 280 and 288mm so in theory pedal travel should be the same. More surface area and a wider swept area too.

  11. Looks like its had a tap up the bum and a replacement panel fitted in the past without ant rust prevention so its rotted inside out. A shell cut will sort that for minimal outlay - panel wise anyway.

  13. I know someone who used to translate magazine road tests for VAG Germany and he said they were all pretty much copy and paste in chunks from VAGs own press releases... and lets face it googling will pretty much bring up facts and figures for USA spec cars too

  15. Early mk3 golfs (square side repeaters on the wings) use the same set up, many list the servo with the sensor still in it
  16. If you trigger the ABS into fault you'll find a reduction in pedal travel and a less spongy feel to the pedal too. New pads can also give a spongy feel to until they've bedded in
