Quick bump before ebay, postage for the previous pair cost £11.69 (up to 15KG signed for) so can't take offers unless you can collect from Nantwich (near Crewe). -
Any chance of a pic? Easy to upload with the Tapatalk app

It sounds like they want to do high standard work and aren't prepared to cut corners to make your car a runner? Why, because they know you wont be happy with it?
-
Yes, that's what I've done in the past, bought my TT 5 weeks ago, collected on the Monday, V5 arrived Thursday the same week

Gives higher torque at lower revs (like the smaller volume 2.8 Golf manifold) the switches to high power (larger volume) at 4000RPM (or whatever you set the controller to).

If BHP figure was top priority yes, for driveability the schrick would be a better bet. Never seen a used one make that money before for a long tme?

The car just gets better. How do you improve the wheels on a Subaru? Fit them to a Corrado it seems?

N3Ps old car sold 18 - 24 months ago for around the £9k asking price? It took several weeks before someone here committed to buying it and that was advertised elsewhere too. It's the mainly standard cars being sold by traders that are asking big money, most hang around for a long long time though.

It makes you think when Seans old 24V hung around for so long for £1200

Potentially you could flog your "280mm G60 brakes" for a lot more to the MK2 brigade, I've just broke her old A3 so those callipers are now my spares, making these surplus -

Copart sell damage repairable Cat C / D and break only Cat B, it might be worth checking them out, its auction based and very health and safety conscious, they load you, hi vis on site etc so don't expect to drive it away etc https://www.copart.co.uk/

Mk4 Mk3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I have 2 pairs of 288mm callipers and carriers. One pair are Golf 3 and unused by me One pair off MK4 based cars off one of my old cars Both have been stored for years and are sold as core units to be used as exchange units on recon callipers (or stripped and checked by the buyers before deciding to use them or not) No warranty implied or given! I don't warrant any brake hydraulics I sell for obvious reasons. Pics to follow, reply MK3 or MK4, first post gets first choice
