  1. Very true mate. Although the Campaign is still the rarest so far then at a production of 6. The Baldwin-Motion Camaro is rare but is not a standard car (modded by Motion).
  2. The Cuda Convertible is extremely rare mate, only 10 made AFAIK, although there are quite a few "copies" about. A mint Cuda would sell for around £100,000!! I think that will be very hard to beat, unless anyone has spotted a Pegaso Spider??
  3. Well if it is, what a bargain! Anyone fancy an Ebay risk? :)
  4. Well being an extreme loyalist, I'm vouching for the C to win! I would expect the same if I was going to loose badly    No seriously though, the C is a very capable car, it may feel "heavy" when cornering sometimes, but I still amaze myself when I've realised just how fast I've gone around a bend. If it's a decent track with more than just a few tight corners then I think it will very close. Also if there are reasonable straights then I believe the C will "out-torque" the Honda, which TBH is the only real way the C can win. Good luck goneinG60seconds and remember to accelerate hard out of those bends, that's where your strong point lies, torque, torque and more torque. :)
  5. Have I entered a Honda forum by mistake??!! So Alex, after your impressive knowledge of the rice-mobile engine, which car (with equally skilled drivers) is the quickest on a track?
  6. Was it working? One of Ford's biggest cock ups, although they did acquire Ghia for their troubles!
  7. Yes the Ferrari Dino, although never sold as a Ferrari (if you see one with the Ferrari badge, it's been added) now go for £70,000 in mint condition!! A mechanic friend of mine has one is very good condition and it has been valued at £50,000+
  8. Probably a Dino or maybe a Daytona? I had a little race once with a 275 GTB, the V12 engine sounded amazing, and it still went very well, although a bit smokey!!
  9. Oops, yeah sorry Dinkus, didn't spot that!
  10. Well if it's taking 40 seconds to close one window, then I would think there is a problem with the current supply or the motor needs cleaning/replacing.
  11. Try closing the windows and S/R manually while in the car, count the time it takes, if it is below 45 seconds (which unless your motors are worn or the battery is low it should be), then I would think the alarm is not supplying a 45 second pulse. How long is the delay for the windows?
  12. If you have a 45 second arming current, then surely that is long enough to enable full closure? My alarm will lock the doors, close the S/R and passenger window and then finally the drivers window in around 10 seconds. Are your window motors working well?
  13. The system will send a current to both windows, closing each one in turn.
  14. Cheating? Bloody right it is!! Yeah the Alfa SZ, mad, mad car, it is rare, but the RZ (convertible) is rarer still, about 240 built.
  15. Now please, this can't include car shows etc, just rare cars you have spotted whilst out for a drive. I'll start the ball rolling with mine: Aston Martin Zagato coupe, driving on a dual carriageway towards the M25 Chertsey. I wouldn't consider this a beautiful Aston but nonetheless very rare, only 52 coupes built!
  16. http://www.wentworthcr.co.uk/carsecurity.htm They know what they're doing, rectified a couple of botched jobs on my Clifford system for a good price. Professional and clean, your C will be amongst fine cars!
  17. No, I'm saying it's a mans car. I don't mind the Fords, a mate of mine had a Sierra Cosworth, bloody quick and great fun, albeit made for the job. A20 LEE has already summed it up in a nutshell methinks. I never intended to be "bitchy" as you call it, it's just that selling a rare VW for a "weekend fun" Ford will haunt you in later years! :) But as you say, each to their own, fair enough mate.
  18. The rear axle has very limited adjustment so I think a "4 wheel alignment" is a bit of a con really, the rear is basically fixed therefore you just need to align the front with the rear!
  19. If you mean front tyre wear, then yes of course it makes a lot of difference as does balancing. Bad tracking, balancing etc can bugger new tyres in no time. Not only is the tyre not sitting properly, but cornering will also have a more adverse effect on the lifespan of the tyres. The rear tyres would suffer a small amount, but mainly down to bad balancing not tracking. Oh yeah and obviously incorrect tyre pressures will also lead to uneven wear.
  20. The camber and toes are indeed adjustable on the rear axle. Although the difference it makes overall would probably go unnoticed.
  21. If the MAF wire/plate is broken in any way or not self cleaning on turn off, then it won't do it's job properly. Bad idling is normally a give away, and very bad idling/running on a cold start. Critical Mass, it could be the idle control valve in your situation. Best bet is see if someone can lend you their MAF for 5 mins for a test run. Your not confusing the MFA with the MAF?
  22. Well the housing bolts (ie the bolts that hold the gear/transmission casings together) are 25Nm (18lb ft) + a quarter turn.
  23. Are you talking about the housing bolts?
  24. Believe me mate if the wire/plate (whichever one you have) is even slightly damaged you would know! My car would hardly run when started from cold. The idle was bad and on a run it would jerk. VAG-COM will detect if there is any damage, it won't be receiving proper data if a bit is broken or missing.
  25. I don't want to scare anyone but there is a possibility of worn/buggered gears. Possible not definate :)
