    Since I rebuilt all my suspension, rear beam etc.. I can now start to pin point any squeeks and rattles and noticed over bumps the parcel shelf was a little noisy. Turns out the foam blocks on the tailgate which clamp it down when you shut the boot are missing. So. Has anyone got the blocks, or even the whole piece of trim if they don't want to split them (they are glued on). Its this bit in the picture.... Cheers Jay

    You say the subframe bolts are "tight" but are they torqued properly? Its pretty high from memory. Jay

    Yep, I bought genuine OE ones from VW. Don't have the part number though I am afraid. Jay

    First thing I would do is go round the car and tighten all the bolts to their correct torque. Specifically the subframe etc.. as these are often under torqued.

    Do you have any details of a supplier, I may be able to sort something?

    MK4 clocks etc,. can be made to work, as you know I have done it before. You can buy converters for can bus to analogue and vica versa so anything is possible :)
