Some more...

I wouldn't order from volkswagenspares/volks-apart- just found out they may have gone under, even though their website still takes orders- including mine last night :? Their phone lines are disconnected too. Have emailed- will keep y'all posted!
-
...and don't come back!
-
These are now obsolete from the dealers, but Eurocarparts still have some stock of LH lights, and it seems that volkswagenspares.com have both sides available 8)

Ian, it's good stuff. Have used SMX-S and MT90 and they both offer a noticeable improvement. They're both as good as each other in my experience. Lol @ Kev! Not exactly a cheap thing to go spilling everywhere! I always use a funnel/hose- think I'll use your method in the future ;) Might as well use the cheap oil as a flush.

Big thanks to Dredgey for the fogs- arrived quickly and very well packed.
-
What model Corrado do you have? If it's an early valver, has the vac hose come undone in the engine bay?
-
Sorry, bud. That better now? 8)

It's still going... Got the carpet, pillar plastics and dash to go in. Bought a heater matrix today- be stupid not to swap it at the same time.

Been a while since I did any sort of update. Haven't done a great deal to the car this winter, apart from start the grey to black interior conversion. So far, I've changed the grey early seats for early black ones in very good nick (thanks _Andy_). I also changed the boot carpets, plastics and parcel shelf + centre tunnel & gear surround. Got main carpet, pillar trims and dash to go in. Will change the heater matrix at the same time- will give this a go in the next few days- not looking forward to it at all! Also fitted a power rohr. 99p Ebay bargain (the guy had advertised it as a 'take-off pipe', hence the bargain ;) ). Only bought it because my plastic pipe had been over-tightened and is a bit deformed. Made a heatshield for the 4-branch out of an exhaust heatshield- a little bit of a pikey mod, but does the job. Here are a couple of nice pics from Coleford yesterday, courtesey of GlosterOx Swompy, Vornwend, CrazyDave & Chris001 :)

Hi mate, it was fitted by the previous owner, but doesn't look like much has been done to it at all to get it to fit 8)
-
Jake, here's mine with all reds :)
-
Reckon it would look even better will all-reds ;) Out of those two though, I'd go with the Inpros.
-
That's brilliant. Thanks mate. Will defo do this soon- the noise is driving me mad!
-
Ah, doesn't sound too bad. Want a hand with the mounts, or are DG gonna do everything?
-
The one Collin posted? :confused4: So what did you actually replace- where did you get the parts? Sorry for the questions- wanna get it right when I do it! ;)
-
Thanks Dave- guessing I'll defo need one then.
-
Good work! Any pics? Must do this...
-
Glad today went well, mate. What 'issues' were there on yours? I think Dave's aim is always to make the passenger feel as sick as possible, without them actually blowing chunks!

Jim's Corrado - ciao to the Fiat! Hello to.. (P64)

Looks great Jim- looking forward to seeing it at Stanford 8) -
Big thanks to Jon (dukest) for the fog lenses. Arrived really quickly- thanks matey :)
-
As above! Get them from Ford, and don't do it up too tight. I always wire brush the surface of the block where the stat housing attaches + then a light going over with wet and dry paper to make sure it's totally deposit-free.
-
Chris, reckon black goes perfectly with the green/grey combo 8) There's loads of pics in my gallery- try this page :)

Here's a pic of my old VR- same colour wheels as yours with black calipers 8)

Swompy's Ice grey violet. Now gone to a new home
CazzaVR replied to Swompy's topic in Members Gallery
For me, Ice Violet is the sort of colour that needs to be broken up a bit with the black plastics. Red and white are the same.
