Pretty sure you can buy the rear hanger from VW. It's all-in-one, you can't take the rubber mount off the bracket. Around £12 last time I bought one.

Green VR6 on optional BBS multispokes near KFC in Canterbury at around 11.30 this morning. Also had mudflaps with the uber-rare Corrado badges on them! 8)

Pretty sure there shouldn't be an earth strap there :? Is it definately connected to the ecu? The only one in that area afaik is the bonnet one, which should be attached to a bolt in front of the scuttle panel.
-
Nik, don't think it's been announced yet :confused4:
-
The G is looking stunning, Rob 8)

Need a tiny dent in my bonnet sorted- you're just too far though :( If there's enough interest, would you be willing to come to CCGB National Day, or other meets? Depends how many you'd have to do to make it worth while...
-
Many thanks to StueyB- fantastic seller! Always replied to PMs, sent photos + items arrived quickly and were well packed 8)

My £405 doesn't look too bad now! Complete joke!
-
£405  £4175 for the vRS, which is around £1K off.

They are on the doors, aren't they? :? Really like it! By far the best effort yet- would defo have one of those! 8) Would have to have the R36 lump though, not some 1.4 TFSI or whatever

You can still get the blue clips from VW at around 40p ea.
-
If the blue clips stay on the car, but are damaged, push them out from the inside with a screwdriver handle or similar.

Drop links are no biggy ;) Where did you get the top mounts done in the end? -
Reckon this is the best yet! The Greek has out-done even himself this time! Dear Lord, who would be stupid enough to buy this?! :cuckoo:
-
Brilliant work, Joe- give yourself a big pat on the back! 8)

Better quality than the original Magnex item! 8)

Fingers crossed for tomorrow, mate! :)

Just ordered one for my 16v - £26 after discount. Pretty sure they're all still available.
-
Check out Opie oils for MT90 ;) Change the fuel filter too. You can get good OE quality leads (identical!) made by Beru from http://www.vwspares.com for a very good price. Get oil (quantum synta silver) and oil filter from VW.

Got a lock ordered. How do I take off the old bearing etc?
-
Great buyer Rob!

Another example of madness clicky :cuckoo:
-
Have bought an 8v which was broken into (and needed saving!). The chavs broke the barrel out of the steering lock, hence the need for a new lock as it's in several pieces!
-
(Hopefully) Finally, managed to hacksaw the old lock off, but the baring is left on underneath the spring and spline bolt thing. How do I get the bearing off? :? Do I need to get a puller on there, or is there a special way it needs to come off?
