Aye, always the way :bad-words: You've become wise to the Forum very quickly!
-
Cheers! Love black cars too- look cracking when clean. Trouble is, they show the dirt so much and look crap again after a couple of days :(
-
I might need it after the lactation issues at Stonor today. I won't ask...
-
That's what counts! :)
-
Just get a G60 badge - no one will know
-
Just been applying some tape :norty: Wanna borrow it, Tom? Also stuck on brand new red 16v badges- look good on the black car 8)
-
Sounds good- I go somewhere similar- they look after loads of Rados 8) May try Streetwise in Bristol though as they're VAG specialists and do a full service (OEM parts/oil) and MOT for £125! Bargain. Keep us all posted when you eventually get it done :)

 Top tip- cheers mate. Stonor good?
-
Brilliant! :notworthy: You should submit that to the Wiki, apart from the part about not washing your car for eight months...
-
Dunno! Wouldn't mind entering one at some stage though- would be interesting :)
-
Thanks mate :)
-
Nah, still got the vRS, so CazzaVR still works OK ;)
-
Ah, it was indeed! Got yourself a good 'un though ;) TBH, don't really like the bra. I've already had to explain to two neighbours what it is  When you say 'It's a bra for my car!' the response is rather amusing!  Defo needed though!
-
Cheers, mate! I know what you mean- I've got the 7-slat grille, but I don't like it! :? Maybe for shows ;)
-
Cheers, Jon :) Loving it! Sometimes takes a bit to get it started- turns over fine, but occasionally takes a few goes. Gonna change the ignition switch as first port of call ;)
-
Yep, they do look good on the early valvers... Do I detail the headlights? I'm a bit wary as they're brand new! Have detailed them on all my previous Rados and it looks great...
-
Cheers! The pics don't do it justice at all :? Could defo get exterior up to concourse standard pretty easily, but the interior and engine bay would take some work & £, which I don't have!
-
Some pics at last! :D

 Who's gonna do the work for you?

Swompy's Ice grey violet. Now gone to a new home

Lookin' great! 8) Funny how things as insignificant as roof strips can make all the difference- good work :) -
Right, washed it last night. Just need to Jetseal and wax today and I'll get some pics up. Got a bra to protect the bonnet- not dead keen tbh, but there's not a single chip and I want to keep it like that ;) Dunno what to do with the car tbh. Do I keep it looking standard or do I go oem+ with some 16" Borbet Cs or BBSs? Really can't decide- not a big fan of the Sebrings, but there's something special about a minty standard car... Got brand new red 16v badges for grille and rear- think I'll fit those and go with black VW badges. Alternative is leave the 16v badges and change the black Corrado badge for a chrome one... decisions, decisions!

That's where all the fun starts! :brickwall:  Twin webber would be superb- go for it- if you don't like it, just stick your 1.8 back in ;)

5 min job to change the blue sensor. Make sure you buy the correct o-ring to go with it. Locate the stat housing- front right of engine bay, kind of in front/below the coilpack. Unplug the 3 sensors (gives a bit more room). Undo the wire holder that clips on above all 3 sensors- you can prise it up with a flat head screwdriver. Have a piece of cloth, ready to bung the hole in the stat housing once the sensor has been removed. This will stop coolant pouring everywhere! Pull out the blue sensor- may need a bit of a side-to-side wiggle, and immediately bung with the cloth. Get the new one ready, pull the cloth out and push new sensor in. Replace securing clip and plug sensors in. HTH- REALLY simple job! ps- get the sensor from Ford - was over £5 cheaper when I bought one a couple of years ago. It's the same part as the Galaxy VR6.

Car looks stunning mate- don't normally like the front inpro stuff, but it looks great on your car! 8) Any engine plans?

Aqua blue VR parked up at Thornbury Golf Club this afternoon.
