  1. Sounds interesting... 8)
  2. Just get some tint spray such as Savage from a motor factors. Take the lights out, clean them up with white spirit, mask off the bits you don't want tinted, rub down the parts to be painted with very fine wet and dry. Spray several thin, even coats- take your time. Have some cellulose thinners or nail varnish remover (similar stuff) handy in case it goes wrong. Use a hairdryer between coats- only takes a couple of minutes to dry with the heat. When you're happy with the tint, varnish. 3 thin coats shoud do it. Use a hairdryer again. Leave overnight (airing cupboard is the best place!). Now you can rub them down with very fine wet and dry (1400 should do). Rinse with water and dry. Now polish with a cutting compound. Remove masking. They should now look factory!
  3. Tinting is fine, as long as the indicators and brakes show through clearly and in the correct colour. Reverse doesn't matter. It's pretty easy, but you need to take your time. Try the search- been covered a few times. Personally, I like the ones you've got, or all reds (take a look at Rob_G60s car)...
  4. Bought some snot today, on your recommendation ;)
  5. Cheers! Yep, defo up for a swap. Spotted a couple of teeny-tiny cracks in yours and one slightly bigger one in mine- none massively obvious though- you're welcome to inspect mine more closely on Saturday to make sure :)
  6. Cheers, Jon- wouldn't mind a shufty at what you've got- already got G60s ;)
  7. This car's really coming on! 8) How did you get the glue off the bonnet? Gotta do this at some point :?
  8. Cheers chap :) Think I'll stick with the all reds. You're right- red/smoked look good too though.
  9. A few pics chavved from the Worcester meet the other day:
  10. Yeah I can understand that. As long as it wasn't Jordan doing his inch by inch inspection that put ya off! A lot of people will be letting out a gentle sigh of relief now  Cheers mate ;) - I'd probably go for it if I was single, but it would take over my life!
  11. Nice aren't they? Yep, gonna give them a couple more coats and a couple of coats of laquer. Have decided I'm not gonna concourse the car... you need to spend a serious amount of time and money (don't have either) and I'll get really precious and stressed about the car- which will take the enjoyment away for me. May enter it in the odd show and shine though :)
  12. Defo go 40mm, mate ;-) 30 mm ain't enough on a later car on 4x4 suspension! Agreed - I just checked my records and I took 40mm off at the front and 60mm at the back. Yours looks puurrrrfick, Vaughan 8)
  13. Fitted some all red tails (cheers Jim :) ). Really like them, but would like to hear what y'all think. Here's some pics:

  15. Whats the score with the all red tail lights fitted? Are they legal? I'd like to get some fitted to mine. You have to get/make green bulbs to make sure they still flash orange. Gonna paint mine with some green glass paint. That's it 8)
  16. Last night- fitted all red tails + rad cover and new stickers 8)
  17. Dammit! :nono:  Looking excellent as usual! 8)
  18. Longlife in Berkeley ;) Go on, you know you want to!
  19. It's got a stainless manifold + Supersprint system- it's actually not that loud... Supersprint are quality 8)
  20. Gonna get the front bumper resprayed? The place that did the paint on the valver is in Nailsworth ;) Auto bodytech is also good (as you know!).
  21. Forgot about that! Those were the days! Reckon I may be able to provoke the valver into something similar as it's cat-less and only has one silencer
  22. Aqua blue 16v - think it was an L reg- parked up in Tetbury Rd, Cirencester today.
