  1. Not good- really sorry to see that- must be soooo frustrating! Surely you've got some come-back on this if it was only 6 months ago?
  2. Looks superb, Vaughan 8) Once you've lowered the car, it's always a tight-ish fit over the rear axle. Sounds like it's ok though :) The car's nearly finished then ;)
  3. Cheers mate :) It's pretty easy- just take your time ;)
  4. My last VR did this- turned out that the foam from the ISV damper (black plastic box behind ISV) had been sucked into one of the ISV hoses. Worth having a look. Also check that those hoses are all in good nick, secure etc. Check out the one that goes from the back of the intake pipe to the ISV damper too. If it's not snug on the intake, it can cause similar probs.
  5. Looks really good- nice shine on the lights 8)
  6. M Coupe 350Z 200SX Integra DC5 S2K Audi S2 Could go on... loads of choice for your budget 8)
  7. Got one like this (originally from G-Werks) you can have for £20 delivered...
  8. That is an amazing job- would love to be able to have a go at this on mine 8) Good work, mate! How's the little 'un? Getting any sleep yet?
  9. Noticed a big difference between the two in my vRS. On Tesco 99, it was 3-5mpg down compared to V-power  Tried Tesco for several weeks then back to V-power. Difference is very marked- car defo faster with V-Power as well. Won't be using Tesco again
  10. Engine bay is gonna look superb when it's all finished... in five years' time  Good work, chap. Will be interested to see what you think of the RARB :)
  11. Nice to see the first mods are on their way 8) Forgot Vaughan had those!
  12. Early cars (pre '92) have hook type hangers, later have bars. Think there was a bit of cross-over around '92. Just have a look at the hangers on both systems ;)

When I did my last set, they were perfect after just the wet sand & T-Cut. Have also used AG Paint restorer/renovator before instead of T-Cut and it works really well.

    Should be fine :)

Yup, forgot about the greens. I bought some green glass paint and painted the bulbs in situ- took a couple of minutes and works perfectly ;)
  16. There is a danger of damaging the maf with a typical K&N style engine bay induction kit, especially if it's heavily oiled. A cold air kit with the extra length of tubing out of the engine bay is a much better bet, along with the BMC CDA. Carbonio and BMC are the daddies IMHO 8)

Would think MOT should be fine? I've had a couple of sets of lights smoked (really dark) in the past and they've gone through fine. Didn't think it was something you could fail on  To get the laquer good, rub down with 1500+ wet and dry and then a cutting compound ;)
  18. Fitted a new expansion tank yesterday- looks sooooo much better than the old one 8)
  19. Looking at this thread makes me realise just how much work it would take to bring mine up to standard- the manifold/gearbox etc look outstanding! 8)
  20. Really, really gutted for you :( Most important thing is that you're OK though.
  21. Looks stunning! Really looking forward to seeing it in the metal tomorrow 8) DGA are class :D
