Well done mate- not quite run-in properly yet then

G60 Speedo and rear wing caught speeding!
CazzaVR replied to kiefersublime's topic in General Car Chat
Would think it raises at 47 mph as all the earlier UK cars do. HTH. -
Great film  When's the new one out?
-
Nah, my wife was driving- we were in the 206- another reason why I couldn't catch the TT.
-
Know how you feel mate :( My blackberry VR (which I had to sell because of financial reasons :( ) was written off a few months later- saw the pics on here  was gutted. Nice to see Nikki has put her back together again though 8)

Twilight violet is 8) Another similar colour is Honda Pirate's Black- looks black on a dull day, but in the sun it's got an awesome purple flip that makes it look aubergine 8)

Saw an Audi TT on the M25 yesterday with the number plate 'GAY 20'   Tried to get a pic with my phone but he was driving like a complete idiot!
-
Wasn't there someone on here who said they bumped into May and Hammond at a petrol station, and they were driving two knackered old Porkas :?: Couple of months ago :?:

You can get the 17mm allen key from Halfords- think they call it a gear oil key or something like that. I used Slick 50 gearbox treatment with 2 bottles of Castrol SMX-S, which you can get from larger Halfords. Check out the how-to guide for this- it's very helpful  By the way, some peolpe don't recommend using the Slick-50 treatment, although my gear change has never been better :D If I was going to do it now, don't think I'd use it.

Had a complete set of Powerflex bushes coupled with FK Konigsports on my last 16v.... amazing handling, but harsh ride and VERY irritating squeeking from the bushes
-
If you don't like those, you'll have to do them yourself 'cos no one else makes 'em. Easy enough job and cheap too. You just need a can of tinting spray, laquer and varying grades of wet and dry paper. Oh, and nail varnish remover and cotton wool in case you go wrong  You just need to take your time doing them to get good results. Try doing a search- should be plenty on this subject :)

Hmmm... dunno about these. Look quite 8) , but then I sat in one at MPH:04 and I was truly underwhelmed. The gearchange felt very sloppy- loads of throw, but then I wasn't driving so can't really judge properly  Need to give one a test drive  -
Try a search - loads of stuff on this- quite a common prob :(

Thanks to Dave (Slot) for a set of Solitudes- very honest about the condition, sent promtly and excellent packaging. Nice doing business with you :)

:( How much more punishment can my old mota take?! Someone drove into me in Tesco car park a few weeks ago and left a couple of nice creases and blue paint all up the side of my car  They just drove off too  Hope you get it sorted soon, Nikki :? -
Many happy returns! :D
-
What time did he get around the track? Shame they didn't take Nick's around when they had it- mind you, not sure I'd want them caning my VR to death with the potential of leaving the track :?
-
Inca blue was definately a colour option for the 1.8 16v- deputy head at my school used to have one- nice colour 8)

CazzaVR replied to jedi-knight83's topic in General Car Chat
Nope. Did a G60 Jet though. -
Blimey! Seen a mystic blue Storm a couple of times in Canterbury (could have been you!), but that's it in Kent. Plenty of other C's around though.

S14A 200SX Touring. Leather, CD Changer, Air-con.... rear wheel drive  Really underrated, rare, look good, bloody fast, amazing tuning potential and most importantly, very reliable!

At the very least drop in a K & N panel filter and get a more free flowing stainless exhaust. Not really worth it otherwise.
