  1. Mate, these are around 40p from VW...
  2. That's very impressive with a knackered maf. Bet you can't wait to get it all finished- nearly there! 8)
  3. *Think* I may have seen it once- was it at Woburn? Another for 10 years here as well 8) Not the same Rado though
  4. Exactly what I was thinking!
  5. Will do. Just been on the phone to Jaguar- no UK stock + discontinued :(
  6. Dox, got a feeling that one maybe the crappy one that's made of cheese. Doesn't look like the other spanner. I'll try to find a pic. I emailed BBS and they said the only one available now is the rubbish one (they obviously didn't use those words!).
  7. Thanks Goozie- will consider it. Not sure it will fit the VR though. However, as Clumpy rightly says, I shouldn't have to look elsewhere. ---------- Post added at 10:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:56 PM ---------- I'm withdrawing my offer for the brace. The seller has been informed and is also going to update his advert description for the brace.
  8. Our pm conversation: Me, 3:25pm: Hi mate, Where are you based? If you're too far, I'm happy to pay postage. Cheers Andy Reply, 3:33pm: Hi mate, I'm based in Leicester Me, 3:34pm: Lil bit far for collection OK to post? Reply, 3:35pm: I can post however will need to get a price first which isn't going to be don't until next weekend coz I can't get to post office during the week due to working hours Me, 3:40pm: Hi, That's fine by me mate- no hurry. Consider it sold though. Cheers Andy Reply, 3:43pm: Iv had someone message me as soon as I posted the thread so will need to give 1st dibs pending postage cost but if that falls through I will drop you a pm Cheers
  9. Not particularly happy to be honest. As mods, we always want to see communication within the thread, for all to see. See the rules above- we encourage OPEN communication, updates + whether it's been sold. The responses to me in the thread and the first two pm's I had answered my questions as if I had got in there first with absolutely no mention that someone else had got in there first. Only found this out after exchanging pm's with the seller.
  10. Pretty sure they are the same from the cat back.
  11. That's utter crap mate :( Jake had this on his old valver. Nightmare- nothing you can do either :(
  12. 8) Got the sticker yesterday- thanks mate ;)
  13. This one? http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?71801-Definitive-Tracking-Toe-Adjustment-Procedure
  14. Will take the strut brace, but would need it posted... Has it got both of the round fixtures?
  15. That's the one Jaguar sell (or used to!). Shame it's gone :( Anyone handy with metal? Shouldn't be too difficult to make one...
  16. Bad timing! Most of us are off to Coleford Carnival of Transport the following day. Don't think I'd be able to get away with two days in a row :( However, I'll keep an eye on this thread to see where you end up, may be able to pop along if not too far away ;)
  17. Good find Bill :salute: Pretty expensive though. Will keep an eye on it... ---------- Post added at 8:36 AM ---------- Previous post was at 8:28 AM ----------
  18. Cheers Vaughan. Yep, JB Motors in Cromhall :)
  19. Will give it a go- you never know. Won't get my hopes up though! Have heard a strap wrench works well...
  20. Mark- thanks, will have a look on Ebay for a spanner :) Jamie- looks stunning! ---------- Post added at 9:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:37 PM ---------- Found this: http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/301443.aspx Hope they're not obsolete- will try Jag on Monday...
  21. Bill, that's the look I'm going for! 8) Looks gorgeous! Any tips on tightening the centre caps? I'm scared of breaking them by doing them up too tightly :(
  22. Got them back today- VERY happy with the refurb. They were individually sanded back, prepped, primed, resprayed and laquered. Personally, this is a much better finish than the powder coating my last alloys had at City Powder Coaters. CPC did a very decent job for the money, but there were a few areas where the powdercoat had kinda bubbled and gone a bit 'rough'. The RCs are pretty much factory finish. Payed £150 to have them done locally. One rim was kerbed completely around its edge, while another had approx 10cm of kerbing. There isn't a trace of this left. Can't wait to get them on the car...
  23. Yep, + they have those blobs from the factory ;)
