  1. They're not in 'general production' yet. Depends whether Dave thinks they are viable or not.
  2. Got a beautifully crafted stainless bracket for the BMC through the post today from daves16v. Perfect fit, with some nice adjustment available and looks sooooooo much better than the old bracket that was on there! 8) Some pics:
  3. Thanks Ian, got the pic mate. If it's the one that simply clips on I'll take it. Can get it off you next time I see you if that's OK, unless you're in a hurry for the dosh.
  4. Ian, interested in the centre visor. Got a pic?
  5. We're regulars with a decent turn out every time- about time they gave us a more central spot! 8)
  6. Also worth cleaning the immobiliser plug with contact cleaner/WD40. Just remove the driver undertray, trace the black wire from the immobiliser ring (around the ignition barrel) down to the little black box. The plug is small and black. Remove, spray, replace, repeat. Only takes 5 mins. Could also be the ignition switch or the MAF, although the ISV sounds like the chief culprit.
  7. I have a set of brand spanking new BBS RX 220 alloys, 16" X 7", Offset 42, 5 X 112, VAG centre bore of 57.1mm. These are stunning and still in their BBS boxes. These will fit straight on 5-stud VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda cars 5 X 112 pcd. To run these on a Corrado, adaptors (e.g. FK) would be required. These are readily available. Brand new genuine BBS centre caps included. £375 ono Collection preferred, or can courier for £35.
  8. Think I'll definitely get this done- will be interested to hear if you can feel any difference and if fuel economy is any better etc.
  9. Thanks for that mate- looks well worthwhile. Will get saving :)
  10. Let me know how it goes mate- seriously thinking of getting mine done.
  11. She just called it 'The VW' when I collected it  They've done a nice job and they gave the whole car a good clean in and out, which I had been putting off as it was so filthy! The car has been a bit slow to start first thing in the morning. Reckon it's a fuel prob. Filter was changed at the last service, relay works fine. Must be either the pump itself or lack of pressure in the rail. Have stuck in some BG44K to see if that can improve things, then I'll be investigating the injectors etc. Managed to find a brand new Ford Galaxy heated seat switch for £12 on Ebay. Swapped the covers over and fitted it. Now have a fully illuminated switch with tight dials 8)
  12. Very good idea- managed to find a brand new Galaxy switch on Ebay for £12. Swapped covers over and now have a fully illuminated switch with tight dials 8)
  13. Gonna lock this one now. If any CCGB members want one of these fine badges, please head on over to the CCGB website for further details :)
  14. Got a pair of rear black cloth cards- tenner for both. Not sure how much postage would be- probably around a tenner as well, so could do them for £20 posted.
  15. Only way I can have one is by using it as a daily. Love driving it, but would prefer to have something more frugal for work, leaving the VR for weekends.
  16. Thanks Paul- nothing like as bad as the bump you had in the Nugget. Reckon (hope) all mine requires is a bumper respray.
