This is quality, I will have to remember that :thumbleft: All Corrados regardless of mileage or service history will need money thrown at them and it sounds like you've had some bad luck by having to do a fair few bits in a short time frame. Nevertheless, the parts you have done should last you another 15+ years and these cars deserve it. I think it's great that you are sticking with it and not just selling it on, besides even if you got another one you only risk having the same problems again :)

Just as the boiling temperature of water is higher in a pressure cooker, the boiling temperature of coolant is higher if you pressurize the system. Most cars have a pressure limit of 14 to 15 pounds per square inch (psi), which raises the boiling point another 45 F (25 C) so the coolant can withstand the high temperatures. I saw an episode of wheel dealers where they had a radiator reconditioned (and apparently for about £100). This is an avenue I am looking to try myself when I get around to it, not sure if anyone else has had this done?
