Might have one but will need to check in the garage. Will let you know this week. Sent from my HTC Desire

That's crap mate! At least you work with some people that have initiative. At my place they would all just watch it burn!
-
Yeah man, well up for that. It's difficult to say when I'm going to be on as I have to pick 'her in doors' up from work at 8.30pm during the evenings but if you need a 4th person give me a shout :)
-
Is your custom header tank bracket going to be made generally available? I would like one!

I'm not bitter, it's just my cars a complete lemon...

This is quality, I will have to remember that :thumbleft: All Corrados regardless of mileage or service history will need money thrown at them and it sounds like you've had some bad luck by having to do a fair few bits in a short time frame. Nevertheless, the parts you have done should last you another 15+ years and these cars deserve it. I think it's great that you are sticking with it and not just selling it on, besides even if you got another one you only risk having the same problems again :) -
I forgot about 'the change' lol. Every so often I follow a link in a thread or from Google and it links to the 'old' style, that's when I appreciate the new look! Anyway, motor is still looking top and I have stuck with a black badgeless grill with satin black VR6 badge, love it. I see you on xbox live sometimes but your always playing football games Give me a shout if you want a team mate for some Gears 3!

After Friday (when I can get my car tax) I will be up for a meet, looks like I'll miss bad-vag this month though.

Last time I was in halfrauds (it was a while ago) they were selling 'trim' fixings in those little bubble pack things, unless you can still get them from the stealers?
-
Wow....do mine?

ABS Pedal distance sensor now obsolete... Grrrrrrr

Forgive me if it has already been mentioned, but how do these 'break'? Looking at that Volvo site, the part doesn't look very complicated (I'm guessing they must be hence the price of them). EDIT - Just read the whole thread, looks like both Vince and Dave have repaired these themselves in the past and perhaps they are also back in stock at VW. Note to self - read before posting. -
Fantastic news! Not sure those Astras are much to write home about tho ;)
-
Oh also, a few pages on, they explain that the pressure cap allows for another 25C before boiling. (Just in case anyone is looking at this and interested in the maths).

Guys, I was just reading something online and thought about this thread, thought this might be worth posting: Fluid - Freezing Point - Boiling Point Pure Water: 0 C / 32 F - 100 C / 212 F 50/50 mix of C2H6O2/Water: -37 C / -35 F - 106 C / 223 F 70/30 mix of C2H6O2/Water: -55 C / -67 F - 113 C / 235 F Don't know if anyone wanted to know that :) EDIT - A bit more (I didn't finish reading before I posted): The cooling system uses pressure to further raise the boiling point of the coolant. Just as the boiling temperature of water is higher in a pressure cooker, the boiling temperature of coolant is higher if you pressurize the system. Most cars have a pressure limit of 14 to 15 pounds per square inch (psi), which raises the boiling point another 45 F (25 C) so the coolant can withstand the high temperatures. I saw an episode of wheel dealers where they had a radiator reconditioned (and apparently for about £100). This is an avenue I am looking to try myself when I get around to it, not sure if anyone else has had this done?
-
Looks like a stunner! Especially the wheels, wish my C was black.
-
I have wanted some black D90's for a long time, just gotta wait for the fundage (plus there's always something else that needs the money instead!)
-
I want your wheels!
-
Haha, brilliant! Everyone will agree with me, when you get out and walk away you can't help looking back for a last glance!
-
If these look factory when they are off they will be schweeeet!
-
It doesn't look like it's had a very happy couple of years, so at least it's helping to keep other Corrados on the road!
