Welcome. If you can't find a solution to a problem here then the problem doesn't exist  Lets see some pictures of the C and the Golfs please!
-
And that is why this forum rocks!
-
Is Franck still around? Would be good to see some updated pictures!

I paid about £30 with VAT for a leather VR knob about 2 months ago. The handbrake level handle was about £15 I think. The leather one is lovely, get it if you can stretch the budget.
-
I'm pretty sure you have to buy a whole knob  I got one recently, worth the money, especially when it's combined with a nice new handbrake handle as well.

Why are they all driving with their hazards on?
-
That would be amazing...we'll know if the new stig drives every car with the traction control off
-
Oooh I was going to remind everyone about this, it's been in my calendar for a couple of weeks. Can't wait!

That looks really good, gold is definitely a good choice, I look forward to seeing them all done. I'm currently going through a stage where I look at my car and wonder if other people would think it looks chav, and as a result I'm In limbo about a few bits, namely the debadged grille and the black wheels. I'm thinking I might put a standard grille back on the front but then I cant decide if it should have a silver or black badge lol. I'm also thinking about trying to get hold of some solitudes, for some reason I really like them at the moment...it's C5OEMs fault, his Corrado looks sick. Whoops, went off on one a bit there, sorry lol! Edit - just sent you a friend request on xbox live :D

Yummy, looking forward to seeing these! I know they are going to look awesome on your car, I wonder how they would look on other coloured cars?

Well there you go, I stand corrected and learnt something :D -
Favourite youtube vids (Corrado related of course)

That storm r32 video is awesome! Surely that is someone on here? -
Personally, I would go for 1 or 3. Depending on mileage, when the chains were done, and so on. If the engine is sweet, just do option 1.

No you can't, shame you can get a good price because otherwise this is what you need: http://www.dgautotech.com/dgauto/index. ... &Itemid=96 -
Good work! You should think about getting some good quality oil in it really....I use halfords for my little Clio daily, but I wouldn't use it in my VR.
-
Sounds like a good idea, you can talk about what oil does, why you need it and the benefits of changing it on a regular basis....lots of people don't seem to know that!

N197 *** (I think), just outside Woking at about 5.30pm tonight, Black VR.....blonde girl driving!

I used that guide when I did mine....it's a LOT more work than the guide makes it look. The spraying part is fairly quick and easy but the prep is horrendous and boring and long and I hated it, in fact I've sworn I'll never do it again :D

Those wheels look top kev! I'll look forward to seeing them fitted!

I put one on my old motorbike, it was fine as a deterrent (touch the bike and it beeped and so on) but anyone who really wants to take something will take it, even more so if they are pro's...An alarm sticker in the window and red flashing LED probably provides the same amount of protection I would think.

You need this:

I'm watching this thread with keen interest, there have been a few over the years but not nearly as well documented as turbo'd VR's.
-
I don't think you can put anything on them, but I would have thought that even for a couple of months of sitting around, after a drive or two the discs will be fine? I did chuckle at this.... Was that an intentional pun?

Don't put antifreeze in your oil!!
