  1. You can get that in Halfords as well, it's good stuff but it takes aaaagggeeees to do well and then you have to redo it every so often. I did it on my bike once then swore I'd never do it again, far too much work for what you get out of it.
  2. That's obviously if the car has central locking - which I'm sure all Corrados came with as standard. Again, could be wrong.
  3. I see a Red VR most mornings going towards the M3 (Chobham area), haven't been awake enough to grab a reg yet but if it's you
  4. My Clio has this (as I'm sure most modern cars do) where the doors all lock once you start driving 3 mph. I've had it on since I've had the car and although I've never needed it (thank god) it's a feature that I don't like being without these days. I haven't tested this but I thought that if you locked the drivers door once you got in, it would automagically lock the other doors as well?
  5. It's a bit sad really, when you see such a nice car (the Corrado in general, not specifically this one) chopped in to bits that you can just pick up and throw in a skip. :(
  6. Oh yeah that's mine, wish people would stop taking photos of my car tho! :norty:
  7. Have done :) Fuck me! I didn't even realise!!!!! I can't explain why without spoiling it so I won't but omg can't believe I missed that, explains so much hahaha I'm such an idiot....going to watch it again now
  8. I thought this was a great film too, especially the bombshell at the end See now that's weird, my mate said there was a bomb shell at the end but I didn't think there was at all unless I missed something. PM me the bomb shell please :D
  9. I have one of those right next to my left handed spanner I got from ebay.
  10. I found these on ebay, would they do the trick? http://goo.gl/MjbP I didn't know what to search for for the loud pedal though.
  11. Everytime I come here (about 200 times a day  ) I find something else to check/worry about
  12. Surely some quick detailler or APC and a microfibre is a good alternative if he doesn't have time to wash the whole car every few days? EDIT - Just to clear up, I haven't tried face wipes myself lol, was just a suggestion as you can get PH neutral ones.
  13. Here are some pictures of my glove box. As I am currently on a mission to get the interior 'sorted' I want to start with this, as it bugs me. First of all it looks like it sticks out too far - could anyone tell me if you think the same, and how I could fix it? Secondly, you will see I only have one screw holding it in - is it the correct screw? Is there a cover that is supposed to go over the screws? I wanted to look on ETKA but the one I used to use doesn't work anymore. If you click for the larger pictures....BEWARE, they are large (not phone/slow connection friendly). Thanks in advance. 14. For a few days? I'd say yes, it'll be fine. Autoglym do some bird dropping wipes which you could keep in the glove box but tbh they are probably just the same as some cheap face wipes from Asda. Just make sure to get the ones for sensitive skin - Corrados are fussy!
  15. That's exactly what I thought, the funky labels and weird name made me think it was just a gimmick but it is great stuff. The hard wax that I use on my Midnight blue C is this one: http://www.dodojuice.com/purple-haze-ca ... r-wax.html I think it was about £35 but it's lasted forever and if you only put on a couple of layers a year it's all you need, or you can re-apply after every wash and get a nice protective coating.
  16. Here is a short list of what I use, I've got loads more but this is a minimum. Fast glass is amazing, don't stop getting that. Megs endurance tyre gel (its purple) for a good long length tyre gel. Poor boys interior stuff, can't remember what it's called, it's light blue. Poor boys black hole for dark cars is good if you don't or haven't corrected it. Dodo juice hardwax. Chemical guys quick detailer. Oh and a Sonus claybar for getting rid of tar and tree sap every 6 months or so. Erm, I think that's all you would want for a basic kit.
  17. Are they super cheap second hand because they are so ugly they don't hold their value?
  18. I was just showing this to the Mrs, she loves it! (Only in red...she said the black ones look like a Hearse  )
  19. This looks fantastic, loving the interior! Are they TT pedals?
  20. Best guide I have ever used: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insura ... -insurance
  21. Admiral always give me good quotes, but best to call them up as they always give a better quote on the phone. I'm 25 and got the VR insured through them for a good price (much better than what you have said above) and don't forget the VR is group 18! I think they tempt young drivers in with nice prices then try to sting you the 2nd year, but you don't have to stay with them for another year next time.
  22. I went a bought this after reading your first post....did you stick it on with the pads that came with it? They don't look like they will last very long.
  23. Oh nice you're in Woking, I'll keep my eyes open as I work there.
  24. Do you think those of us without FI that want it would be allowed to come and watch? :D
