1. Time for an update! Got a few things to post that I've done over recent months. In the summer I put down some Dynamat: I also got some polished stainless bolts for the boot struts: I picked up a second hand stainless Milltek cat back which sounds fantastic and makes the back look much better. Sold

Flippin heck! If you don't shift them at that price I'll be amazed. Just as everyone else has said, wish I had the money, love these wheels!! I'm sure it's too far away but if they're still available when I get my Christmas bonus I'll be in touch. Either way, GLWS and free bump!
3. Will you be going na or fi? In terms of bhp return on investment, FI wins hands down. Not sure if that's normal (I'm pretty sure Civics with ITBs can make reasonable results) but you won't get that from the VR block. BTW - I don't want you to think I'm trying to put you off!! Just giving my opinion :thumbleft:
4. I know you said that an auto electrician has already looked at it, but just to cover all the bases (as well as other questions about the fuel pump), is there power to the coil? When my after market immobilizer packed up, no power to the coils and no prime from the fuel pump were the symptoms.
5. Hey mate, good luck with the project. I was about to let you know that owning a Corrado wont be a cheap project, however; a friend has just sold his CTR and I can honestly say I was disgusted at the 'premium' that gets charged for Jap performance parts in the UK. By comparison, the C will probably be quite cheap!

Seat belt release

Can you not stick something on it? Paints only going to rub off again. A friend of mine just used some of the black 3M stuff you get on ebay to recover some interior trim bits and it's really good stuff.
7. Ok, from personal experience I can tell you that this thing smells DISGUSTING! I used one in my daily to get rid of the smell of fags, but really this thing smelt worse!!! It did indeed destroy every other smell but 2 months later and my car still smells like this thing and I HATE it!!
8. I'm no pro but I think you need to keep it the same. For the C I only use the same stuff (grade and manufacturer). In the daily hack I keep the grade the same but top it up with any oil (halfords, Renault, Castrol etc) that I have handy or that's on offer.
9. When I got the Corrado there was a melted baby bel skin the rear ash tray.
10. This is what I thought. Sent from my HTC One X
11. Struck by a cold, feel like crap. Post your remedies! Go.
12. Calendar checked - I'm in :D
13. Well I'm up for it for early next year! Might actually get the Corrado to make it all the way this time... Put me down ;)
14. I think it's a case of, if you want it, arrange it. Jim made a sterling effort last year (it's a pretty big job to arrange it) and with his Corrado currently off the road I can't see him doing it again this year. I'd offer myself but don't have the time, wouldn't want to start and then have to bail :( EDIT - I stand corrected!
15. Perfect thanks. I paid you for some stainless stuff recently, shall I use the same details? ---------- Post added at 3:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 3:11 PM ---------- Thanks Rod. I did think about this but wasn't sure. I might try that first as getting a cut out for the front seems a bit harder than the back. Cheers!
16. That would be ideal mate if you would? I'm after a bit like this:
17. I'm looking to delete my tow eye hole from the rear bumper and I'm looking for a section from another rear bumper to do so. Colour doesn't matter. I'm also looking to delete my front number place recess so I need a section from a front bumper too. Let me know what you've got.
18. Something else I've noticed actually is that the amount of active members threads is quite low at the moment. These for me are the best part of a car forum. This is likely due to a number of factors, the UK economy, cost of ownership, higher average age (meaning mortgages, marriages, kids and so on) and obviously the low numbers of Corrados in the UK generally. I think I'll try to make my own thread more active. Whilst progress on my car is slow I often forget to take pictures and post them. Sent from my HTC One X
19. I do think this forum is a bit quiet at times but that's fine by me....gives me a reason to actually walk away from my computer (or head over to Vortex!).
