oh my word! that is awesome. I have often thought of attending but never got round to it. I still recall fondly seeing, or should I say hearing before seeing, the audi S1 Quattro's (heavily modified) storming up the hill at Shelsley a few years ago & getting the opportunity to peer into a metro 6R4 whilst in the paddock thank you kindly john, troy, caroline & twiggy -
oh dear nick I fully understand a ham related desire, I have one also that im hoping may come to fruition next year however, right at this moment I am desperately trying to get my mind not to think about if I could raise the funds by selling my VR & valver. oh the headache lol seriously tho, it must be some motor you are looking at...???

thanks for the explanation Alex. That is good forge got back to you & are being helpful after quite a bit of time. I did post you a link to the roose site where they have a clear pic of the rado set of pipes - in case you want to forward to forge I can take a clear pic of the roose setup on mine & post them for you if you think it would help? breakers are quite regular on here, you could try putting a wanted ad up in the wanted section (in you haven't already) &/or contact someone in the breakers section if in hindsight I had asked stealth to retain my OEM hoses so I could keep them I would send them you but alas sadly not good luck
-
I like them also Jim, cracking internal quality too! I do wish I had not used the jubilee's & kept the OEM spring clamps though
-
lol the caption for the pic that popped into my head was 'rado's reporting for duty sir, yes sir!' pmsl
-
I was going to say that too Jim but on the other thread he has put info on it sounds like forge were specifically making him a set & as such a bit too far down the road to go to another supplier (unless he can get a refund because they are not right)
-
ha ha ha!! Neale that has proper cracked me up this morning! thank you for the resulting big smile lol pls don't mention the 'G60' words, I find my knees & my wallet shaking each time I see a good one in the classifieds love your adaption of the chicken dinner, im gona remember that one :D I saw a nice new picture opportunity last night as all 3 were parked in line on the drive & they looked like soldiers falling into line reporting for duty lol I will take it tonight & post it tomorrow

what did forge say about it m8?

Corrado Heat Shield Hood Liner (Group Buy 2014)
g0ldf1ng3r replied to Southie's topic in Group Buy Feelers
im thinking there must be a local supplier somewhere near you where you can buy some from m8 PM me the town you live in & I will have a hunt for you -
if your neighbours are already good, & if you get on with them, why not have a chat with them? they may have the view that as long as any noise is not at unsuitable hours then anything goes :)

hi hasan I would but the issue is posting the stuff m8 :( IIRC royal mail or someone changed the posting rules shortly after I received my cans such that you are not able to send flammable/explosive material though the post -
hello both :)
-
tidy nice garage too. is that a defender peeking out?
-
I see, thanks
-
cool, post up how you get on in due course :)
-
I apologise if you have taken offence, that was not my intention. I am not upset, as I said it is entirely up to you how much you want to sell them for but in the knowledge they were originally nowhere near that expensive maybe 'taking advantage' is a better term than 'greedy' if the item in question was an antique which was 100 years old for example I would agree with you but it is not it is a part for a car, not only that but it is not even a functional part FYI frequent users & posters on this forum regularly see so called rare parts appear on here at very inflated prices compared to their original cost & it never goes down very well with the community. I will stop clogging your thread good luck with your ebay sale but I must say I hope the current project to remanufacture these is successful & sees them back on sale at a sensible price
-
Mic that's a cracker! I can almost see your AP's peeking out behind the wheels ;) Chris - I like your posh dealer based shot lol
-
give it a go m8 you will be surprised at the amount of different receptacles it will house :)
-
EJ I am seriously going to have to drive down to see & hear this in the flesh when it's finished if you would be so kind as to accommodate me!? plus your caddy & Bristol too pls :) lol
-
:) that's 2 ive made up in recent weeks now - someone else liked the 'winner winner chicken dinner' i posted a few weeks ago lol
-
no you would be quite wrong there. they would only ever be worth the amount I paid for them. plus as I have a conscience I would not feel right in heavily inflating the price. it is a shame that what you started as a potentially kind & helpful thread for others on this forum has simply become one of greed. I understand it is entirely up to you to sell them for whatever price you wish but it does not sit well with the generously natured community on this forum
