the current state of UK roads is awful. completely unacceptable in may cases not only do they leave potholes to get bigger but they dont repair them properly & the hole is back within days of being 'fixed', thus making things like this happen.......& then when they do re-lay a road they have the audacity to simply throw wet tar down & then gravel on top of it, is it any wonder my bonnet looks like the night sky with god damn stone chips....grrrrrr

indeed EJ - what is the point! life is here to be enjoyed, we only get 1 chance so be as happy as you can as much of the time as you can & try not to regret i recall when i was very young, about 8 ish i think, my mom used to work for a small company & one of the directors there purchased a ferrari testarossa brand new. he had it delivered to his secure garage where it sat under a cover for many a year. he never once drove the poor thing & even at that young age i can remember saying to my mom that 'how could he just leave it sitting there & not drive it, pure sacrilege!!!' 'he brought it as an investment' my mom would say - 'what a w4nker' i would think LOL
-
good points well made

yup definitely for that money you could invest in an E30 M3 with fairly low mileage - which will truly pile on the £'s faster too
-
indeed we would, & smile a lot less too

during conversation about the valver yesterday my mechanic said he had indeed replaced both the O rings on the oil filter & housing as the valver is nearly ready to come back home on the road & i need my mechanic to swap my current tires onto the newly refurb'd speedline he is going to take a look whilst he has the VR
-
the valver had its first road test after much work yesterday all ok apart from front calipers binding a little, replacements ordered & hopefully it will be MOT time before the week is out
