  1. i see & yes i agree it does seem encouraging my only gripe is that their prices do seem to be rather errm, well, inflated
  2. is that classicparts.de you refer to Jim? i was pleased to find an outer sill repair section, among others, & the ordering experience was enhanced thanks to anna & VW heritage & their free delivery
  3. thanks Jim i know the oil pressure & temp switches were replaced when the stealth work was done & the top area where they connect is all dry i need to get my head underneath & shine a torch up to try & see better
  4. you read my mind m8 - thank you :) i will probably throw the trolley jack in the car & take it to my parents house, as they have a flat drive unlike my current one, & take a look over the weekend i just hate leaks Kev - ive not long fixed the water ingress to the cabin i was suffering grrr lol
  5. no new oil patches overnight & looked fairly dry on the underneath but again a slight drip from the same area once the engine was started checked oil level yesterday & barely registering a loss need to investigate over the weekend
  6. welcome m8 i still remember collecting my first rado & the wonderful drive back plenty of info on here, lots of nice people & dont worry about questions :) when posting, if you click the 'go advanced' button down the bottom right corner the page will then change to have an 'attachments' button - click that, select the file you want & then click 'upload'
  7. not sure m8 but i reckon if someone could master repairing them they could make a tidy income on here ;) lol have you checked out the threads on having a moonroof instead? although from what ive read that can be a slight minefield too
  8. thanks Kev, much appreciated im pretty sure the filter housing O ring was replaced when it was serviced & MOT'd not too long ago. it did have a new sump & summp gasket when it was in stealth last year as well ive just had a look & there have been zero drips since arriving at work this morning - thus, as it was a fresh drip this morning when it was warming up for a few minutes i believe it is only happening when the engine is running no sign of any oil coming from above the oil filter housing or the sensors on top but i can see where it seems to be dripping onto the pipe work slightly below such unfortunately without putting one side on a kerb i cant wriggle my head under for a better look as it is too low lol
  9. not sure yet Kev going to have a look on my break shortly it seems to be around the oil filter housing area
  10. any clue where m8? i can see lots of gauges but not like the corrado specific one
  11. ahhh poop spotted a small dripping of oil when i started the VR today :(
  12. welcome bullfinch had a nice spec car, & similar to mine, good buy :)
  13. kits sound good m8 ive looked into a few similar solutions previously but ive not heard of venture shield
  14. here you go m8 offer currently for fuchs http://www.opieoils.co.uk/t-Current-Offer.aspx & oil filter http://www.opieoils.co.uk/pv-12363-oil-filter-ufi-hydraulic-oil-filter-element-in-pleated-paper-2559000-single.aspx
  15. oilman normally updates offers in the suppliers section & i think forum members get a small discount anyway you could drop him a PM personally i use the fuchs titan race in the VR ;)
  16. 1 step forwards & 2 back eh m8 ;) lol keep up the good work, it'll get there
  17. ha ha exactly m8, gotta love the fun trips :D oh i see. i think Mr May hit it on the head with that statement, the 'fizz' really does count! oh well Kev, i spose if anything then the current time with the ED30 will let you formulate your thoughts on cars & what to have as a daily or fun...or both :)
  18. yeah there wasnt much clearance on the T trailer thing but no the VR has the later smaller one, the valver has the 90mm i believe. not sure how tight it was for the stealth rollers, vince didnt mention it ahh yeah, forgive my ailing brain id forgotten you now had the ED30. lol joy rides seem to be very common with rado owners! i always go the long way to the local shop ;) is the ED30 not giving you an itch elsewhere if it really is just a work horse?
  19. hello m8!! been a while since ive seen you pop up, hope you're well :) lol i think i had a sensitive moment about the pics i posted as i know how limited exhaust options are - thanks for your reply ;) it was a touch & go moment with the RAC as with the height i run it at it literally just about cleared the T trailer thing they drop out the back of the vans. if anyone is interested i run the '2 finger' gap mentioned on the suspension thread quite a lot hows the R32 Kev?
  20. cool thanks again mic i did ask one of our parts distributors in the network about AP as they do stock some of their parts but unfortunately when AP split they sold of the AP Racing side to someone else. i did for a few moments dream of the opportunity for some 4 pots at trade price, rather than £2K lol
  21. good idea about doing a drive by video at a show mic i agree the price was cracking, especially when you consider it took him 7.5 hours to fabricate & fit i would love to experience the brakes m8! though i already know i want them without the need for a test run lol out of interest, would they fit under a 16" wheel or do they have to go under 17's? is autometrix at castle combe? (just had a quick google)
  22. ahhh ok m8 thanks i will have a word with the gf & check it out :)
