Grinningly happy Nigel :D i really should call Paul & thank him for his hard work, for producing a cracking install & give him feedback.

hello :) another blackberry in the local area, nice :)
-
nice! i like your makeshift spray booth too :) do you have the polythene sectioned area ventilated? if not, do you do a 'spray & run' when working with 2 pack? lol i have helped with the prep work on camper vans many a time as my friend hires one out to the public & restores them & seeing your good work here is making me think about a similar setup once ive built my garage

i have tried to copy the update from my members gallery with all the pictures etc but the attachments needed sorting again this link http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?44751-g0ldf1ng3r-s-VR-amp-return-of-the-valver-VR-exhaust-picture-heavy-page-8/page7&highlight=g0ldf1ng3r goes to the page with the videos & then lots of images on pg8 in essence im very happy indeed :D

if you have no joy with used options give Longlife a call m8 i recently had a 2.5" system from downpipe back with sport cat fitted. 400 notes & a lifetime warranty that is for the exhaust itself so if you ever sell the warranty goes to the new owner
-
welcome back local too :)

new livery looks awesome :D is any of it sponsor related? (sorry it that is a daft question as normally the livery is to show sponsors) i imagine you are very glad you did the smoke test even though it threw up problems congrats on the 2 trophies from knock hill will watch the super lap day stuff later :)

or another idea that came to me on the weekend......im sure ive read on here that KW can provide an alternative spring rate to that which is 'out of the box' so to speak. IIRC Kev Bacon knows of a slightly softer spring rate which you could specify for the V1's for example, thus removing some of the harshness caused by our awful roads (the suspension would not give you any issue if they would gave us decent roads to drive on)

whoa that is rather major! i thought the avon zv5's were bad, only lasting around 6K in the VR ive covered about 14K so far on my current bridgestone RE002's on the front & there is still plenty until the wear bar

Changing heater matrix without removing dash?
g0ldf1ng3r replied to Hofmiester's topic in Engine Bay
guys ive compiled a word document with the majority of the pics that are missing from the kris guide on the wiki here it is dash out but has lots of pictures with all screws etc specified PM me your email address if you would like a copy or PM Jim on here as he has a pdf version -
IIRC the V3's are full adjustable & allow: height, rebound & compression to be set individually thus you can get them set exactly as you desire plus with some playing around & testing you could have a 'soft(er)' setup for normal journeys & motorways & then a 'firm' setup for spirited or track driving FYI i found buying them direct from KW was the cheapest option for my V1's & they will price match (or used to) dont get me wrong i love the V1's & on smooth roads they are superb, around the bends they are awesome too but our UK ****ty roads can sometimes make them feel rather bumpy. the V3's would allow you to set them to avoid any harshness

could he not just get a new corrado expansion tank (thus same sensor connector) & put a blue lid on it? im sure thats what i did but now im trying to recall what i did when i changed it but i did the rad at the same time & seeing the car with no front end was scary lol
-
for the price of it wayne you may as well get a new expansion tank & blue cap when i changed mine i did not get a new sensor
-
suspension is very much you get what you pay for KW V3's are meant to be the dogs danglies i wish i could have made the jump from the V1's but i couldnt afford it at the time. if funds allow in future i would like to put the V1's off the VR onto my valver & then get the V3's on the VR :D

no problem

hi m8 ive found the reply from anna about the section, copied below for you: C535-809-848 comes up at £39.87 plus VAT. Clasic parts take 2-3 weeks to come in from point of order as we order a large batch at a time each week, that includes being booked in here. As long as your order totals over 35 its free delivery.
-
errr let me check.......
-
ha ha ha indeed m8!! & then you literally fall off your chair when you ask them for a quote as the delivery charges are phenomenal with the sill repair panel i mentioned the carriage was TRIPLE the cost of the part lol i felt very lucky to have a contact from heritage on here as they got it for me & i paid zero delivery, as my order was above their FOC threshold :D
