ha ha ha if that is 500 of each side then i reckon you would be out of stock rapidly if they were a very good price used ones are in as bad a state as those on the vehicle of people looking for them replacement ones are a joke of a price from germany & there is no other option i have even spoken direct with spoonfed tuning about their CF ones but they need to be shipped to a freight forwarding company & then with the import duty they too sky rocket in price tell your boss that in the UK there is currently pretty much no option at all other than a cut & weld
-
if only Oz!! the current 400 euro a side is eye watering & with the only place i knew doing CF ones no longer trading it is a pickle
-
i brought my valver for the 1st time when i was 23 in 2000 & had it for 7 years, then sold it but brought back 7 years later - so 10 years so far with that then brought my VR6 in 2009 so up to 8 years with that am 42 now so have been in a corrado for about 17 years - is it any wonder i dont really like driving most other vehicles LOL
-
nice, that is better than imagined :)
-

-

great recommendation Ron thank you :)

there are a few of us in the vicinity & who would like a meet - the issue has always been that there is quite a distance between west mids people & deciding on a location maybe we could start a list of members, then pin point their location & try to pick somewhere that is as equidistant as possible unfortunately the good classic car meets in the west mids that used to happen, such as Becketts Farm or the Black boy in knowle or the rugby club in alcester, no longer operate AFIK
-
good feedback thanks
-
how were they Jim?
-
ahh i see i did wonder as i could remember seeing that your gauge holder was different to the normal ones
-
i think the open ones were designed for vehicles destined for warmer climates though i cant see it giving that much extra air flow surely
-
you can see the VDO's in the recarro thread pic..... http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?98429-recaro-interior maybe PM the OP & ask if he can confirm the gauges
-
i to have heard & wondered about this my VR is also 3 slat with one vent i had thought about mod'ing it to open more vents but not sure it is worth the effort
-
i have been thinking about one of these for a while now https://www.dancovershop.com/uk/product/folding-garage-car-small-2-6x5-8x2-1-m-grey.aspx

i agree sean & we should all be happy with a general rise in values there is a case of some traders trying to make a rather inflated margin on them though - the lying scum who drove away with my gf's old storm has more than doubled the money on his asking price & i doubt (well, pretty much know) he has not 'fixed' many of the things he was moaning about - including the chains

pleasure fella

here you go jamin.... spacers & then rubbing on arch liner, then shadow on tire from said rubbing
-
from what i recall the spacer sits on the outside of the disc not the inside as such the it means the spacer is what the wheel itself locates on to, rather than the shoulder on the disc, which is why hub centric spacers are recommended as they have the spigot shoulder on them for the wheel to locate i found ths out the hard way as i agreed to the cheap spacers HiSpec offered only to find they were not hub centric. which resulted in a call from my mechanic saying 'these spacers are tosh as they dont have a spigot to locate the wheel on' AFIK you can use non hub centric spacers but the wheel then only locates via the bolts does that makes sense to you m8? lol
-
yup, the dealers especially my gf's old storm is still on the traders site for £9k many months later (which is way more than he haggled it for!!)
-
he does sean, or did anyway Vince had a black VR which he developed the turbo kit on but it wasnt running when my VR was in there quite a while ago - not sure if he got it back up & going
-
i will go & take some of it how it is in a bit if i can & of the rubbing too if i can capture it what do you mean when you say you are not convinced? do you mean that you are unsure if the 11.5mm ones will be ok?
-
fingers crossed on the brakes then - N3P had lovely tarox 6 pots i think & VAG-hag has big Aston Martin calipers on his but not sure what size i think they both produced around the 380-400 horses mark but have a look in the members section for their build threads TBH i wouldnt expect Vince to mention gb strength as from a customer point of view it could be off putting to be asking about a £4-5k turbo upgrade & then be told you need another couple grand on the gb to be able to cope with the new output plus, again AFIK, i think the OE gb can cope pretty ok with up to around 300 horses with just an LSD
-
ha ha ha - joker sellers as well as joker traders lately lol
-
i thought similar the gf parted with her storm for less than that a while ago & it was in very good condition though it makes me happy as bodes well for both mine lol
