unfortunately the latter m8 AFIK it stripped 3rd gear when he took it to the last stealth RR day - note i dont believe this was whilst it was on the rollers - & he had a very slow drive home VAG-hag he posted this week that it is back on the road & with the new gb internals similar with N3P's stealth storm too but he sold the car before he had the strengthened gb internals fitted i believe both of them also had LSD's or tractional control of some form in there at the time i have seen the stealth turbo upgrade being fitted & the work vince & jon do is awesome BUT you really do need very big brakes, an LSD of some form & a strengthened gb as well - oh & likely bloody good suspension to keep it all on the ground EDIT - just seen your signature - you are going to need much bigger brakes than those 288's m8!!! (if you havent catered for those already)

indeed lol FYI i had a better look at the VR front under arches last night - quite a scuff on the arch liner & a few noticeable scuffs on the tires too. think i need to raise it up a tad because of the 10mm spacers

no danger thought it might be worth mentioning. i have been slowing for the hump back lately but may raise the front a little to accommodate a bit more suspension travel

ive just put 10mm hubcentric's on my VR,which is lowered on KWV1's to a 2 finger gap between top of tire & bottom of arch, so as to fit the hispec 4 pots.....ive noticed if i go over a small hump backed bridge a little too quickly the weight on the downward travel is enough to cause a tiny rub on the outer tire edge that is with OE speedlines

yes, they are sublime! love the one in my VR & plan to get another for the valver hopefully ive not crunched a 2nd to 3rd gear change in the VR since fitting one of daves :D

not sure sorry but i do know that it is popular for the US owners to mod to a euro seatbelt setup

it depends if you want the sound they produce Rob they really do let the engine speak after around 3.5k revs i love mine! coupled with the longlife 2.5" exhaust the noise my VR makes through the revs goes from a low exhaust grumble to a grunting exhaust & as i hit about 4k upwards the sound shifts to the front & the BMC growls a good un! with the OE exhaust you go the full growl to howl out of the BMC - the noise they make at 5-6k revs is addictive m8 :D coupled with SP263's, the BMC helped my remap make 10% gains too IIRC if you get it from stealth they will also get the small hose which is need to connect it to the MAF if you were closer id give you a run in the VR so you could hear yourself but there are 2 videos on my build thread but they capture more of the exhuast

for quite a while m8 - im sure they were around that price a couple of years ago when stealth did my rebuild & fitted one
