This car has a "Mad Max" feel about it :D

Well its a sad day as Im having to get my golf scrapped due to it failing the MOT on quite a few things. A hole in the floor being one of them. And due to the bill to get it on the road as cheaply as possible being £500 Im gutted its come to this but just not worth it. She has been a great work horse and taken a lot of abuse over the years and only left me standing once. Was my first car too. :( A real head turner and great fun to drive even tho its a 1.4. It kept Andy's boys entertained at Berkley castle last year :afro: So I will be bidding fair well to her on Thursday when I go up to DG Autotech to collect a few things off of her before she is sent to the scrap yard in the sky. But onto the future and Im in the process of saving up for a Bora TDI ready for next year. Which will be my work horse and keep the corrado off the road over winter and allow me to only use it when I want to.

Any thing that was of use or good condition was stripped from it all ready. Both wings where dented and rusting really was a sorry sight

No other mods at the mo just decat, map and induction kit. After the brakes im going to try and leave it alone for a bit but paint work is defo on the cards. Thinking of giving the engine a little.bot.of spice with not a common mod but still researching it at the mo, so keeping it under wraps for the time being :D Can't remembrt what map graham put on it but its made the throttle response more controllable so feeds.the torque in, instead of just dumping it on you. Still uses the alloy sump Haha its not that low is it i want to drop the back end a bit more :D

Liking the work mate really do miss this car -
Perverse - how good is the custom code map been looking at getting mine mapped and that one seams the best one out there?
-
Regardless the AUE is still a good engine and goes very well in the corrado

A year ago yesterday I went and got my corrado VR6 from Abdul. and have been driving 5 years this week. 3 of thos years have been filled with the joys (and pain) of corrado ownership. All my friends from school are having kids, I have my corrado. You can kick a corrado when it miss behaves!!! :D
