Hi NeilThat's pretty much how my enquiries will be heading towards. To see if they can make the mould with the holes blanked off. Can't be too hard I would imagine.

I will ask about the indicator holes or lack of. Also ask about the flared question, I think it would cause too many complications and impact on the price. I can see there is a bit of interest in these and I know people would want them in the future. I will persue this and do my best to make it happen as I've done with the headlight switch group buy. I've had an email from the carbon manufacturers today stating that my order had been completed and is ready for shipment. 10 days of waiting! Aargh! Hopefully it shows my intent to get these parts produced as I've already spent a chunk of money with them and am developing a good working relationship. I think the only way these wings won't get made by this company would be due to the pricing. Can anyone donate a mint pass wing to the cause? Cheeky but worth asking! Oh and I've just had a carbon wrapping kit delivered to home. Might as well learn all I can about it if I'm going to be selling parts! I'm going to wrap everything in sight!!! Haha.

You have to look at this in a positive light. You say you don't have the money to buy the engine (£250-350) and fit etc but you would have to take a £800 hit in selling yours and buying the silver one. You can't fit the engine because you don't have a hoist, sure you can hire one or borrow if you ask enough people. Fair enough if you don't have the room to rebuild an engine. I'm sure things would work out if you chose to sort the engine, not like there's a shortage of owners within a drive to help out. Go for it mate, save the old girl. You've only just bought it.

Hi Troy, only realised it was you after I posted. You alright buddy? Where are you looking at getting the carbon mat from? If you've not seen it, have a look at Carbon Mods website. I've just ordered a kit off them. Not to do commercially but just to play and learn about the processes involved. They are meant to be very good quality. If you want to pm me anytime about this subject, I'm sure we could both get a little more knowledgeable about it.

Ahh mate, horrible sight. Is there any way to cut out the damaged areas and weld new panels pieces from a breaker? Difficult to tell the full extent of damage as I'm using my phone.

Sounds like you've got a good idea of where to take this, best of luck with it all. I may end up buying parts off you. When you get going with it, you have to do bonnets. I can't be shipping stuff like that around the world, you would be the only one in the UK making them, a nice position to be in from a business point of view for you. Bet setup is a killer cost wise! If you don't gain any benefit from the part being carbon ( weight, strength, no rust etc) you might as well buy real carbon blanket kits that come with the resins you need and wrap an existing part. Especially if its plastic, not worth making a mould of something light already. If you learn how to wrap properly, it would look awesome to the untrained eye. That's what I'm going to do. Think I'll have a go on a number plate plinth, nice and flat to learn on. Will be very satisfying to learn a new skill.I'm looking into having the late wings made from carbon as there is a gain in doing it as far as I see it.

Yep, sorry the ABS lamp. Door handle looks good, mirror switch all working fine? Hard to test the drivers side!!! £10 for the window switches sounds fair as long as they work as they should. Add them to the growing list! Thanks a lot mate.
