I've had another look and the VW number is 191 711 141B. Can someone find out what car this was fitted to please?

Hmmm, sounds quite pricey then. I'm sure I could get them better than that. I'll email the company for details over the weekend and see what the score is. Might not even be able to get them. Could someone find the part number please?

Hi guys, During my talks with the company that has sent me the headlight switches, I asked them for a catalog of all their VW parts they make. Looking through it, I saw a potential leather gear knob that had an OEM number starting with 535. That's a Corrado prefix isn't it? If that is the right knob for us (oo-er!) Would anyone want one? Are they still available from VW? If so, how much are they? Let us know what you think. Cheers.

Very valid point there mate, if the price is right, then a retrim is worth going for. I wouldn't dispute about the value difference with standard leather at all. I'm very happy with mine and find it to be more comfy and holds you better than Recaros. To me, Recaros seem to be too flat and wide across the base. You slide across the seat instead of being gripped. Saying that, having the name is nice also!

That beige set is a crazy price for frankly a tatty looking interior IMO, you would need to spend a lot of money on top of that to get the sort of interior you want. If you have pots of cash laying around to spend on this to show two little Recaro indents in the front seats, you're mad!!!!! Haha. Just think, there was a chap on here who bought a complete VR car with a grey Recaro interior he wanted for less than a grand. I've just bought a complete standard Storm black leather interior with next to no wear on it for £400 a few weeks back. Patience and you'll find the right set mate.

I've not had a look at an early switch so can't help really, hopefully someone can come along and say if the connectors fit both. I wouldn't have thought someone would change the dash connector to an early one if they are different. Hope you get the right answer. List now upto date folks.

You're right about the BLQ's being scene but they look amazing. We're both lucky in the fact that we're at the ends of the UK and not going to see many cars around with them on. I'd have them on a new VW straight away. How many times are you going to be bumping into the Edition 38 scene?
