Do these dials use led lights? If so, I don't think the switch is good for you. I know Nath had a play with the dash lots but I don't know what he did to it.

I have had a look in China land websites a little while back and am sure I've seen them. Trouble was they were so pricey IIRC that I didn't think about it again. I'll have a new look though.

Agreed, fingers crossed the Gaz's are great for you as I'm hoping to buy some coilovers sometime soon. These sound to be the ones for me but want to read some feedback about them first.

Hi guys,To continue from the group buy feeler thread I started about this, I have now placed the order for 100 late headlight switches from China. Once they process the order, I believe there should be approx 15 days for production and a few days for shipping to me. I will pm people who have expressed an interest on the feeler thread and list everyone and numbers wanted here over the next few days. If you have led's in your dash, these switches do not light them up. Original green lights work perfectly. Mine were from TPS, came in lovely VW boxes.

Rear Discs Genuine £14 per side Bearings per side £18 ABS rings per side £11 Pads set £20 All these from TPS a few months ago.

I'm in the process of gauging interest in having parts made in carbon to replace those parts that are now obsolete. Might be worth a thought along those lines.

Sounds like I was lucky then with my grill, came off intact. I did go very carefully as its painted and didn't want it getting wrecked!

Hi there, Sounds like the plastic bonnet release catch has broken. The passenger side is metal. You need to carefully prise open the tabs on the top of the grill and remove it. You can then manually pull the bonnet catch open :thumbleft:.

Don't forget the bolt underneath the bottom of the wing at the back:thumbleft:

Good find there Karl, this is why I'm not too worried about going to the expense of doing the chains and tensioners myself.

Hi buddy, I put £21-23 somewhere further back in the thread. It wasn't a confirmed price due to the nature of getting import duties and Vat on the order. But I'm hopeful I can cap the price at that. I don't want people having an unexpected price when its all done.

Hi Tim, Have you got to the rear beam area yet mate? If you have a look underneath the car on the passenger side in front of the rear wheel. There is a brake regulator with 2 brake lines going into it and 2 coming out to the rear of the car. The problem I have is the regulator has broken off the bracket holding it to the section above the end of the rear beam. Could we have a look at this please for me? A pic or 2 could be a big help first. Could we have a look at the wings at a possible deal, I'm looking to find a pair to be sent over to be made with Carbon Fibre? Maybe the interior door pulls as well.

The partial update is this- I have red LED's in my dash and the new switch doesn't like them and won't turn them on. I am about to test the switch in Chris Langdon's standard green lit car. I will also send the switch off to Chris (RW1) for his analysis. We are confident that the new switch will be good for the standard dash lights but will confirm this. The new switch operates the headlights just as it should do with a nice firm clunk movement to the operating of the switch. Will update again with more test results.
