  1. I sold my bra I had when I bought the car. Figured it would rub on the fresh paint and do more damage than chips. Getting chips is just one of those things I have to accept as I haven't got use of a garage.
  2. Very kind of you sir. I was chuffed to bits. Got my neighbours to thank for a few chips now though! Grrr.
  3. You're having exactly the same paint as I did a little while back. I popped in to have a look mid job and it looks horrific seeing the front all rubbed back! So happy when I collected it though. You do get nervous waiting don't you.
  4. Erm....nearly 3 years since last visit to the forum. I doubt he will get your post.
  5. Didn't realise the VW sealant was going to cost me £15+ today. Oh well bought now. I'll talk Langers into buying a sump and there should be enough sealant for both.
  6. Everyone will be added to a new list. I've been told by the manufacturers that it could take a little longer for them to arrive as they are very busy. They did add that as it was a small order, it might get pushed through a bit quicker. Keep on adding names! Cheers.
  7. Of course mate. Infact I think everyone should get a spare!!! Haha.
  8. Batch number 2 of 100 switches now ordered. I imagine it should be a couple or so weeks until I get them.
  9. People get too caught up in this future classic business. Just use and enjoy them for the here and now. Its not like we own Lancia Intergrale's (is that the right spelling?) is it. Look at the classic status for those. ..........but we are seeing more good quality Corrados for sale with healthy asking prices.
  10. I used to have S3 Recaros. They had modified bases welded underneath. They use the original Corrado runners and adjustment point. So I would say your answer is yes they will fit with work done. Pics in my Sig thread if you want a look.
  11. When I bought a cheap Corrado, the first time I saw it was when I collected it! Turned out to be good. Someone get round there and buy it. Man up people and take a punt on it! Haha.
  12. Great news buddy. Now I've got to the end of the batch, I'm able to order another lot of the suppliers. I'll do this tomorrow. I don't expect there to be any kind of rush for them like this group buy at least they will be there for future needs. Better to get them now rather than need them later and find that they aren't available.
  13. Which Porsche are the brakes from then mate?
  14. I've spoken to a guy and seen his 88 F reg lhd in black. Looks great and only 100k on it. Now that's a keeper!
  15. I have a complete sunroof loom if you find yours is goosed. Cheers bud, best of luck with it.
  16. Foglights- Lever out the indicator from one side and remove. Undo the four screws now showing and carefully wiggle free. Now you can undo the cable from the back of the unit. You should be able to change the bulbs now.
  17. Really appreciate it if someone has a good passenger wing for me to send away to the Carbon company :thumbleft:
  18. I've now had the delivery of parts from my supplier. I thought that I would post up a few pics to show what the parts are produced like. If I managed to get wings in the same quality as these parts, I wouldn't want to paint them!!! Mk6 Golf Rear Diffuser- Mk5 Golf GTI Front Bumper Cover- Audi A3 Mirror Covers-
  19. I reckon that LauraJ and VR6Rado, you prob have the last two available in this batch. Anybody else that wants one, please continue to contact me as I will be placing another order very soon as I'm sure I can still get hold of them off the manufacturer (need to check this though). Cheers for all the interest guys.
  20. Not been out in mine all summer, sucks big time!

    Which Polisher?!?

Thanks for putting the link up Karl, I've been wanting a polisher but didn't know which to go for. I've started to wet sand the car after getting rid of a scratch. I liked how the wet n dry got rid of the humps and bumps in the lacquer. Gave a glass like reflection but just needed a polisher to buff it back after. I'll have to research about polish now, don't want a cutting paste as I will have done enough of that already.
