  1. I'll add you mate for when I do get GT5.
  2. Yeah I posted this one a while ago, makes for very upsetting viewing  Some very bent metal, that green one that fell off the transport lorry, shows how strong it is in that kind of impact.
  3. Very pricey steel stands  Though when I do see a bucket seat and stand with a monitor on, I do likey lots :luvlove: Something like £250-300 ish, ouch. I've got ideas now for improvements to my stand......everyone needs snacks and beverage storage :cuckoo: :norty:
  4. Keep your setups coming guys, love to see how you're rolling!! Cheers VR6 (Tom isn't it?) Come on fella, you need a wheel in your life
  5. Now thats a good idea. I feel a mod coming on
  6. Haha mate, glad you like! Cost me nothing as I had all the offcuts of wood in the basement :norty: Might feel like varnishing the top as I've got some laying around from a job. It doubles up as a little side table on the end of the sofa now for my drinks :) Come on Gaz, pics up!!! Bet that looks funny if anyone came into your room and saw you using an ironing board :cuckoo:
  7. Here's some dodgy pics of my cobbled together stand. Note the solid oak piece of flooring for the top :norty: .After seeing this effort, lets see what you guys are using. There are even homemade stands being sold on ebay :? Honestly the crazed expression was just for the camera
  8. My limited experience of using the wheel over the last 2-3 evenings are fantastic. You do have a better playing experience and get 'into' the game more. I'm not playing GT5 yet but F1. My results have gone up loads. Easier to follow the racing line and post quicker lap times. I scored 2 points by the time I started using the wheel with 4 races left at the end of the season. Fin with 16 points and the last race I had a 5th place, in the Virgin Racing Team :)
  9. To all you guys with steering wheels, wow they're great aren't they!!! Do you use them with the Stand you can buy? I started out with it kind of wedged between my knees until it hurt from the forces the wheel can exert :cuckoo: Decided that was no good for a long evenings racing. So today I bodged together a homemade wooden stand! Not visually beautiful but serves the purpose great. All I need now are some rubber feet to stop it sliding on our wooden floor. I'll do a pic later on to give you a laugh at it :norty:
  10. Whoop whoop! I got a Logitech GT wheel for christmas :luvlove: Can't wait to try it out. I've got enough vouchers to buy GT5 when the shops open. Going to give my F1 a good try out first :norty:
  11. Wow they must be on crack :cuckoo:
  12. http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... 17&t=87804
  13. Hi Alex, Nice choice from what I know about them. There's a guy I think from Exmouth way who owns a diesel Fabia who would be good to talk to as he's tuned his car upto 260-270bhp. Sure he would be on the forums you're looking at. Enjoy mate.
  14. I've seen a clip where they do a drag race off the line in downtown Manhattan! Sure thats going to upset the locals!!! Can't wait. Hope we don't get more moaning from people saying Top Gear isn't a car programme any more, staged setups, falling over, fires etc etc. Haha, to me its first class entertainment :notworthy:
  15. Really enjoyed watching the challenge episodes as well, been a long while since I've seen them. Looking forward to the Christmas special.
  16. Wow this thread evolved quickly  Very nice looking condition from the couple of pics, lets have some more. Have you got a faulty keyboard or just trying to shout everything you're writing? :norty:
  17. Silly ideas time Would it be possible for a manufacturer to produce a small enough generater that would recharge the batteries while its actually being driven? That would sort out any range limit problems :?
  18. Mine was sat on the front step left by the postman (good he listened to the Do Not Bend notice). Very pleased, nice pics and good resolution. :notworthy:
  19. You're doing a great job here mate, respect to ya.
  20. Stick with it dude! Would look so cool, please please please :)
  21. Don't worry about feedback like that Jim, there's alot of very happy people with what you guys are doing for us :notworthy: At least you know you don't need to send anything else out to him now
  22. Ok mate, I'll have a go at getting some useful pics to show the details. Then we can start a bidding frenzy to sell them for hundreds!........Ok sorry thats just looking at some of the ebay prices :cuckoo:
  23. Is there a reason why I can't find any details of anybody using the Cayenne 4pots I've got? There literally seems to be no-one else using them. I'm either feeling a bit special or people know something I don't!
  24. It was a great surprise. I showed everyone that was around the house. Its now proudly up on the side :luvlove: A nice touch guys :x-mas:
