  1. I'd be up for a spoiler at £75. Would it be an OEM design or could it be a slightly longer pronounced tip to it?
  2. Yep, definantly go to the docs and A&E even if you are only feeling a little pain. Just under 2 years ago when it was all icy on the roads, I crashed my mk2 gti into a telegraph pole. Literally 20 mins later I was stood chatting to a couple of blokes in their workvan about what had happened, when a car came sliding down the same bit of ice. She managed to turn to avoid the telegraph pole but in doing so, came straight at the side of the van and me! All I could do was jump into the air and be scooped up onto the bonnet, cracking her windscreen with my shoulder. She then slammed on her brakes when the ice was finished, sending me flying off the car and skidding down the road on my arse!!! Somehow I just got up and dusted myself off, and to this day I don't know how but I opened her door and asked if she was ok :cuckoo: She was in hesterics thinking she had killed me or something. I laughed afterwards about asking if she was alright. All this happened in the morning, I felt a bump and knock obviously but was mobile. Everyone was telling me to go to the hospital but I felt fine. As the evening wore on, I stiffened up terribly and just about got myself to the A&E. Nothing broken but bashed up proper good! So please get yourself checked mate and best of luck with getting everything sorted.
  3. :pale: Oh crap mate, feel for you. Beyond saving? Most important, are you ok?
  4. With the extra numbers, how far away from the magic 250 were we? Damn that £1 could be the straw and all that :gag:
  5. Don't worry yourself, a classic policy doesn't have NCB. Just have all your discount on the daily car and start a new classic policy.
  6. Looking ermmm not very nice mate :pale: Not a very pleasant job ahead. I've got a big long list of jobs waiting for you on mine, so hurry up with this :) I'd offer to assist but I'm working all the time also, I could come over to wind you up and take the 'P' if you like :norty: Good luck mate :cuckoo:
  7. Years ago I had an Audi 80 with 60k on it and FSH. I wanted to keep up with the stamps in the book. So off it went to Audi, had the service. This was the first car that I had taken to a dealer for a service as I had got my mechanic brother to do all previous works. I was curious to see what they had done for the £150, so I asked my brother to check the car. Turns out they did very little. The oil was black, air filter wasn't changed, no new spark plugs. A disgrace really and I'll never waste my money like that again.
  8. A couple of recent ones- Volksworld13. Great coms and very helpful guy. Well packaged item arrived quickly. Thanks Alex. Bananawhip. Very helpful as well, great advice given. Cheap postage given the size of the box. Great protection around the item also. Thanks Tom.
  9. Again all figures from Autoexpress. 4.28m L, 1.86m W, 1.33m H, 2.6m wheelbase and 1300kg. How does that lot compare to a Corrado then?
  10. Having a read of Autoexpress today, it states we have about 3-4 years to save up £70k!
  11. Someone driving inches from the car infront really winds me up!
  12. What an amazing job here :luvlove: That red is awesome :luvlove: Can't wait to see it all back together.
  13. Seriously impressive stuff. Love it A LOT!
  14. Ahh this is going to look mental mate. Can't wait to see it judging by your other works of art! Put some pics up of your other cars you've done. That should surprise a few OEM lovers!
  15. Don't worry about the modding then, just get it as tidy as you can and sort any little niggles out. You'll feel so much better about it then.
  16. There's prob about 95% of people on here that would love to have your car Andy :) I'm not bored with mine, its been at the bodyshop for the best part of a month now (bodyshop got busy with Dealer cars, so mine got pushed back). I'm itching to get it back :brickwall:
  17. That looks absolutely awesome mate :luvlove:
  18. Thats more like their quality of work. Sorry to hear that mate, very annoying. Got any pics of your handy work?
  19. Herisites you should be on commission with GAZ, as after that review there's going to be a good few sales with them, myself included. :notworthy:
  20. Thats nuts mate  Good seeing you again at the Taunton meet recently, can't wait to see these on a car :notworthy:
  21. Oh, best pick one up then as I lost mine after it was taken off. Thanks for explaining.
  22. Thank you sir  I popped into the bodyshop on friday. Got told it will be done this coming week, it got delayed due to a load of Audi's coming in from the local dealer. Tell you what, I'm getting so excited to see the job they're going to do. A bit sad I know. Thats interesting about the undertray, wouldn't it cause the engine bay to retain heat? I removed some of the plastic bits behind the headlight to aid air getting into the air filter area. Any chance of having a friend do a bit filming of you driving by? I bet the noise is just amazing and to see it moving would be great. I want to see this car in the metal sooo much :luvlove:
