  1. I'll get a pic for you tomorrow mate, can't remember the condition. I'm sure its good though.
  2. Thank you sir, Robrado974 can take the credit for the packaging. Glad to have been able to help. :thumbleft:
  3. Thanks to both of you. I want to replace as many of the rubbers and bushes as I can. Obviously a budget would have to be kept to (smaller the better). I think at the end of the day, I want to experience what a VR6 drives like as new. Are there part numbers and prices available? The more info I gather on this subject, the better I'll do at getting a good setup. I think I'll post up links of bits I find and ask if thats the right sort of thing to get an OE or suitable setup. Cheers.
  4. Looking awesome there mate, feels so good to get new paint.
  5. Cheers dude, what a mess of it you've made already! :silly:

  6. :fist: Oh yeah, they do work :drinking: Cool Andi, thanks for sorting that part out, sure they'll be getting some use :thumbleft:
  7. Hey where did they all go? I had a nice big line of smilies up there. Now it just looks a bit silly!!!
  8. No Smilies = :tumbleweed: Now with Super Smilies = :onfire::shock::new-bday::nuts::awesome::multi::silly::salute::) Edit: Yay it works now:dance:
  9. No wonder a working sunroof is so hard to find with you pair around!!!! haha! You're making them rarer!
  10. Looks to be the one there mate, good find.
  11. Thats a load of cables in behind there mate. Would be best to trace them back to source and remove if poss. Lots of leaves there as well, have you suffered from water creeping in behind the cowling?
  12. Looks good Abdul mate, don't know if I missed it but was wondering why you were looking to replicate your old 16v when your actual old 16v is up for sale? Surely as you know your old car, that would be better to have that than a different one, unless this is in better condition or has more good stuff on it.
  13. Hi Andi, Is there a set time limit you're logged in for if you're not actually doing anything on the forum. As in, I've had a thread open for a while on the same page, then navigated away or done a reply. When it refreshes, it has logged me out. And come on everyone, lets have more donations being made to help out with the costs of running the place we all enjoy so much.
  14. Hi all, The next part of my maintenance is going to be focusing on the suspension. I'm not interested in the performance polybush route. I want to experience how the car would've handled when new. So to try to get to this, I want to replace all the original bushes and rubbers. A couple of questions on this- How much difference would I notice compared to, I guess all original on my car? What sort of price would I have to pay for everything? Can someone list up the seperate parts/ numbers and component prices. I would be happy to have feedback from you guys who have done this maintenance, so cheers in advance, Matt.
  15. Doesn't bear thinking about what the cavity wax is for guys!!! I'm a Wurth convert from years ago using their screws for woodwork, very good quality and precise. Not seen them for sale for a while, might just be not going to the right places though. Normally buy Spax now instead. Is there a place online you guys get all your Wurth supplies from? Be handy to know.
  16. Good work mate, fortune favours the brave and all that! Look forward to seeing it come out of its winter hibernation. Haha, guess you don't need our spare front bumper now! Unless you want to go into production doing them?
  17. Is anyone else having the situation of pm's being mixed up between inbox and sent? Its looks very odd and is confusing. Another vote for increased and smarter smilies.
  18. Give Andi lots of money each month and I reckon you could upload more. Even just a £1 a month means extras on the forum. Everyone should help out for all the hard work thats been put into getting this working.
  19. Can you give us any more info or a pic of what this bit is please mate, I would imagine we have this as we're breaking a 94 2.0 16v at the moment and most of the car is still to be sold.
  20. You'd have to drive around in a full head to toe leather outfit to match your car
  21. Could someone please ask for the leather interior but not want the front seats, I could take them if a split happened :) Any movement on the price for inlet mani ready for polishing? Many thanks, Matt.
  22. TBH mate the last thing I want to do is tread on anyones toes (i.e. Spoonfed) as they clearly have top quality products that are proven already. If I manufacture parts I do it as a hobby-ist , like the trimming work I do. I like making stuff and have no intentions to manufacture these parts for a living (in the short term). However what I will say is that whatever I make will try to be as unique as possible i.e. not ripping off other designs just to undercut them price wise. And if it is cheaper it is because I am not charging my time at a professional rate (like I do my freelance design work). I do stuff like this to acquire new skills, because I want my work to be out there and I also want to contribute to the scene in my own way. Most of the time I make things because I don't want to pay retail for stuff I can make, if I can make some more and help others get a step closer to their dream car - thats cool. Sorry for the disclaimer but I realised from your message that my hobby-ist exploration might be viewed as trying to undercut someone (Spoonfed) who has already had the initiative and worked hard to get a product out there. It's not what its about - in fact I am not sure what its about yet. . . . . . but keep an eye on the thread - soon I will have scanned a spoiler and will be creating my own variations on my computer for critique on the thread. As for timescales and indicative costs for these bits - I have no idea. But when I do it will be on here ;) Thanks for the reply there mate. Don't worry I can see the difference in what both you guys are offering. I love the Spoonfed stuff, its very good on a professional business level and you're looking to expand your skills as you have said. Thats why I asked if there was going to be production of your ideas as I think there would be some good interest in what you have to offer. I think there would be enough of a demand that you wouldn't be seen to be treading on toes, especially if you were able to offer something different. I'm looking forward to seeing these come to fruition. Best of luck with everything.
  23. Hi mate, Is there a chance of the carbon wings happening? I would love one of these, especially an extended style like whats being offered from the US.....BUT cheaper  Don't know if the costs work out to make them much cheaper, fingers crossed :norty: Keep up the good progress :salute:
  24. Pah! Mines always on the road, its you guys who fanny around shutting them away for the winter thats letting the side down  Anyone who hasn't seen this C in the metal, the pics don't do it justice. This is a seriously good and well kept car. Good on ya Rob and don't get down thinking about all the little bits and bobs to do. You're nearly there!
