    FAIL!

That must mean the fail thread is a fail itself  :epicfail: :norty:
  2. Looks a beauty mate, can't wait to see it in the metal :notworthy:

    audi tt seats

These look very smart mate, you'll now get lots of posts asking all about the install of them :norty:
  4. ......it would be bloody amazing  Just seen this on Ebay, great vehicle and built to an incredible standard. How about a 2.5TDi with 300bhp and 124mph :cuckoo: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-T5-Karmann-Col ... 45f200a86f
  5. Look in a tasty condition too, nice 8)
  6. Lets hope the C is so embarrassed to be seen out that it blushes a nice shade of red! Not looked at Max Turd for many years.

    TT Comps weight

Just had a look, very complete thread you've got their. Loads of useful pics, and I think those wheels will be fine over the AP's, loads of room! Cheers for the help gentlemen :notworthy: Thanks for your response, appreciate that :-)
  8. Hi guys I fancied gauging peoples thoughts on Corrado's that have had a colour change? Especially when it came to resale time, not that I'm looking to sell. My C started life as Moonlight Blue and at some point has been painted Mystic Blue, very well done as well. No paint lines visible anywhere. Its starting to get a few stone chips as per usual and in the future I would like to freshen it up with a re-spray. I love Mystic Blue and would keep it this colour, would the re-sale in the distant future be hit because of this change or would it not bother people much due to the overall good condition of the car?

    TT Comps weight

I did a trial fit of one of my TT Comps over a spare hub with the Brembo caliper and 323mm disc fitted to test and there was plenty of room behind the wheel spokes. There's a few pics of it in my build thread if you wanted a look.

18.8kg with a Conti tyre on fella.

    VR6 conversion

Yep this has been posted on our local forum and I've said the exact same thing as you have sir. Why bother :cuckoo: If you have to ask things like can you use the existing gearbox then you know you're in for a world of pain and lots of expense :gag:
  12. Wow, that was pure luck and no judgement on my part then! At least you won't get any rubbing issues with only using 2 or 3mm spacers.
  13. I wouldn't know anything about the BBS wheels as I've never used them. But, I've done a trial fit with my Brembo caliper's that use the same 323mm discs as you need. My 17" TT Comps fitted with about 8mm clearance to the back of the wheel spoke. I have a feeling that the width of the Cupra caliper is narrower than my Porsche caliper but could measure it tonight if you want, meaning you could have more clearance. I would be surprised if you had to mess around with the suspension height as it doesn't sound silly low. As for a smaller disc, nope sorry mate thats it. Its a 28mm thick disc and I'm pretty sure you won't find one that width but smaller diameter. I could be worry though! Hope it all works out for you mate.
  14. I bet Volkswagen's idea of a loyal customer is one that trades up to a new car every couple of years. We're probably seen as a bit of a pain with our old cars, just want us all to have the shiny new models. Hope a fix canbe found for this particular problem. I'd be up for a couple if it canbe solved.
  15. Thanks so much mate for that help. Wish you didn't say about taking the dash out! Haha. The loom should arrive in the next week or so, I'll check it over before looking to route it in place. Yeah I'll prob PM you in a panic not knowing what to do, so thanks for the offer. Matt.
  16. How long until one of these camera's catch something weird or wonderful? Imagine one being used in evidence for a crash? :ignore:
  17. Hi guys As I'm on my phone its slow going searching for stuff, I'm wondering is there any guide that someone has made for fitting a heated seat loom into the C. I've managed to buy a set on ebay and will be looking to fit this in the coming weeks. Anything to look out for or be aware of? My Audi Recaro's have a heated seat loom connector on them, what would the unlikely chance be of the seat and loom connectors being a pair? Cheers for your help in advance, Matt.
  18. There's not too many options really as your wheels have that ET and the car has a set ET where the wheels fit nice and snug without rubbing. You could always get the arches rolled or widen the arches, bit more than £130 though :brickwall:
  19. You'll be hitting the arches with those 20mm spacers. There's plenty of 10mm sets on there :salute:
  20. I've got a feeling the wheels would sit in by 9-12mm rather than poking out. My TT Comps have an ET38 and don't rub at all. I would imagine 10mm spacers would be the easiest size to find and yes you would need longer bolts. Cheers Matt.
  21. Car looks good mate but the txt spk is annoying. Doesn't give people a good impression of you, probably a very nice chap. What's the plans for the car?
  22. Sorry to have offended your sensitive nature  Only kidding fella. I posted this because I thought it could provide an interesting thread and the variation of replies has proved this. Its not a 'look how shit this is' and more like ' look at the effort and work put into this' Big difference, even though it is a bit of a waste in a 1.4 :cuckoo: I feel very enriched today after taking my little boy out for the day :luvlove:
  23. Found this on ebay, someone has a cat c or d mk4 Golf, decided to put the R32 body kit on it and then put the Lambo opening doors on :cuckoo: But the cherry on this cake is the 1.4 engine, bet it doesn't sound like an R32  Basically such a waste of the R32 bodykit and the front seats :gag: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-VOLKSWAGEN-G ... 2a062a1cca
  24. For the year and 2k miles I've done, I reckon on £1.1k on fuel, Mot, insurance, tax etc. Then prob another £1.8k but that was for upgrades like a new head and cams, brakes and wheels. Maybe £3-400 on general servicing items. So not really an expensive car to run, especially when you compare to a new car loosing £2-3k per year in value, or more! When buying a Corrado, buy the best example you can afford, unless you want a project with lots of jobs to do, there will be plenty of jobs to do thats for sure!

    Ouchie insurance

My renewel was around £380ish but I changed to Brentacre for about 10 more due to being able to make mods changes to the policy as many times as I wanted with no admin fee like most do. So well worth it to me as hopefully this year a few things will be getting improved.
