  1. Now thats a pretty picture! One for the future for me if I'm very lucky.
  2. Panasonic Lumix? :D Very similar, its a Canon. Not sure of the model til I get home. Tis a good un tho. Haha I know what you mean Rob. Had to sneak in and back out undiscovered!
  3. Im rockin' the wind deflectors too - think they look qualiteeeeee! Nice work Matt, lookin' sweet bro!! :D Haha, are we a small band of brothers then? Not many have deflectors by the sound of it. When I saw your deflectors Dubstar, I decided on getting some there and then. So you could say you're an inspiration mate! I've been trying to remember your real name after we met, I've a rubbish memory. Thanks for the kind praise.
  4. It means something when I get compliments off guys with stunning cars themselves. Thanks so much.
  5. Cheers mate, yeah I really like the deflectors. Nice and subtle look, work great, very pleased. Hey cheers Philuk, the TT Comps are about the simplist wheel for me to keep clean. Couldn't manage a complicated wheel, be fooked in no time!
  6. Had a nice morning of cleaning and polishing, everything is running beautifully at the moment. Hope thats not the calm before the storm :gag: Went out and about in Torquay for a few pics as I don't seem to get any after its looking good. Put my standard lights back on with a little bit of black inside :norty:
  7. Thanks for the replies guys, I'll have a look at that link when I get home Kev, G's all the way! When I bought the calipers, they came with Brembo pads, with about 7-8mm wear left on them. After a light sanding, would they be better than what I've got until race pad time?
  8. Very tasty mate, we need more :luvlove: Pics, details!!!
  9. Haha thanks Jim, no worries. You are spot on with recommending the Ferodo's, another has talked about how good they are for him. Anyone seen these before or heard of the make? Liked the sound of having Ceramic in the pads :norty: I won't be having ceramic discs for a long time, so next best thing!!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Porsche-Cayenne-R ... 2a05f1e71e
  10. Hi guys Just got my new front brakes fitted- 323mm EBC discs, Porsche Cayenne Rear Calipers and have fitted pads by TRW. The pads have now done approx 180 miles, so bedding in should be just about done maybe. When the car is cold, the pads feel rubbish! You can feel them just slide along the disc and slowly slow the car. Once the brakes have some heat in them, they really do bite into the disc and slow rapidly. I'm wondering if there is a make of pad that will be good from the start of the drive and not fade away. I'm looking for the G-forces in braking!!! Cheers for the help.
  11. I'm so chuffed, kind of knew there wasn't anything major to worry about but you never know about the odd wear and tear items. Had a quick panic the day before changing blown bulbs and the horn stopped working recently, only to find it was the fuse  Had one advisory, long handbrake travel- Be sorted with the mk4 Golf calipers. You hear the horror stories of Corrado ownership but I have to say I've been lucky with no major setbacks (so far!) How have you guys been getting on at MOT time?
  12. BUY THE WIND IN TOOL!!!! My brother and I got the piston back in with grips and a big screwdriver, what a pain in the ass that was. Took ages, swearing and blood involved. If you can't afford to spend £15 on your car, you own the wrong car. Always wanting attention and gifts lavished on them (no wonder people refer to them as a 'her' :norty: ) Seriously it will save you grief mate to buy it.
  13. Bloody hell, just saw that thread moments ago
  14. All we need now, is a pick-up
  15. I parked right out of the way at the end of the car park recently. I parked just over a line of the next space, no other cars around. Came back from the supermarket and only some old fart looking Honda Jazz wedged in the 3/4 space next to me, still no other cars around :bad-words:
  16. Here you go- Ignore the crappy tint, will be going sometime soon.
  17. My C isn't a Storm but is Mystic Blue. I've only just carried out the smooth tailgate mod and colour coded handles. Have a look at my build thread for pics as I'm on my phone and can't link any to here. Might give you a good visual idea of how your's might look with similar work done.
  18. Haha, what a great picture that paints Kev. That would be a show to go to. My mrs thinks I'm odd when 80's films are on telly, I look forward to them. She just wouldn't understand as she was born in 85!
  19. Haha, I've been found out. I saw this car after doing a search on these wheels. I love the look of them and they are awesome on yours Coullstar. A Christmas wish would be a set for mine in white! Haha. I didn't put up this thread as an ultimate 80's car, just enjoyed looking and reading about it. Thought I share it in case people hadn't seen it before. All the cars posted here are awesome in their own way.

    Window tints

The door windows seem to have the lightest of tints to it, looks factory, no film on the glass. I'm sure someone would know more about it than me.
  21. Found this by accident and thought it worthy to share. Amazing power made by the engine and those Comps are the sex :luvlove: http://speedhunters.com/archive/2009/03 ... grale.aspx

    Window tints

Mine has tints, came like it when I bought it. I like the side rear ones, a smoke kind of effect very well fitted. Hate the tailgate one, a crap limo tint with a million bubbles in it. Once I've got a bit of spare time and change, its being removed and a near as poss match to the side ones going on.
