Fuel pressure regulator?

Is this the plastic bit that the screw screws into? If so, they are available from the dealers for pennies, and are used in quite a few other places.

Go for the Conti. Never had any issues with the one on mine.

Check your fuel pressure regulator on the front of the injector rail - I had nasty starting issues until I replaced mine, and it's not an expensive part.

Ok - will clean and test the ISV. It idles at around 1000 RPM for a while from cold and then settles down to 640. Is that normal?

I've looked into this - the third brake light will ONLY fit the US spec tail gates. There is no recess for it on the UK models. A few people have fitted an OEM one by cutting a section out of the tailgate and fitting a bracket. There are also other non OEM options that are less intrusive. I've got a third brake light sitting around in the hope that I get round to this sometime.

Not really to my taste, but as I was getting my VR6 washed noticed this one tucked away behind a wall - I think it's a 16V, but nor really sure.

Hi all - my car tends to idle high on cold after start up and sometimes I get the dreaded needle dropping when coming to a stop. Could this be a problem with the idle stabilization valve? I've checked for vacuum leaks and all the piping appears to be sound. I don't want to invest in an ISV unless I have to as they are quite pricey. Thanks.

Any of the ones I had from Germany always came with the code. There is a way of deriving the code from the serial number as well, or a dealer can unlock it.

I have one that lights up green - slightly earlier model of the Gamma IV. You can get them both on German ebay quite easily - they come up often.

Do you have an uprated headlight loom fitted?

The crack pipe is a plastic tube that runs from the water pump housing in the block on the left hand side to the thermostat housing. They can give out after 20 odd years or so.
