I never read too much into the fuel gauge. Mine takes no time at all to get to mid way, even near the bottom but will happily stay near the red line for over 100 miles

Looks nice. Good to see a corrado thats gone on so long and not scrapped! Did you want the bigger pulley then??

I'm an apprentice machinist at Rolls-Royce. Means I get to make jet engine parts, but can get a bit boring sometimes :( Access to plenty of equipment and skills though, useful when owning a C :D -
Bought some of theirs off ebay. They're not original corrado ones, but fit nice and were a bargain!

Wow thats a lot of jobs And one hell of a thread resurrection!!! -
Yes thats entirely normal, not sure why they're designed this way. I can get 30mpg over the course of a tank from my G60. Thats with light-ish traffic with a few go fast moments :) I'm running a 68mm pulley and chip. What mpg are you getting? Talk to g-werks about getting a smaller belt, they do a range of sizes. Not sure how difficult the pulley is to fit but the chip is dead easy. Just swap the chips over in the ecu box. Think you'll need 3-legged puller to get the pulley off...... See here for the chip installation: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=67373 HTH

Difficult one that, if they did carpet bomb everyone with leaflets they may be accused of unenvironmental spamming.........

Ahh, thats more like it, didnt know that sort of thing existed. I'll keep an eye on that when my charger gets sent off

I dont run boost return either and have the oil breather going down the bottom of the engine bay and running a filter on the ISV. I'd be more concerned about the valve at the bottom of the throttle body which diverts excess boost. Fine when theres boost as the valve is either closed or boosting out, but surely running NA when the valve is open you'll get a vacuum where unfiltered air enters the engine  Thinking of running with no charger when I get mine sent off, thats why i'm asking.

Ouch! Nice car to be taken off the road just for some EU bullsh**t Prefer the older shape but still a shame

Check out this calculator: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp Always useful to calculate wheel poke and inner clearance, I can't get my head round the numbers either.......
-
What did you block the boost return with?

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...

Left the lights on after work, went to pop to the shops and the battery is dead. D'oh! -
Check out the suspension thread at the top of the forum. Plenty to read and loads of varieties discussed. KWs seemed to be universally recommended though if you have the dosh

Try using this calculator: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=wheel+offset+calculator&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a You can work out how much further in/out your wheels will be, then add on the thckness of the adaptor

A specialist will be able to put it right, but doing it yourself may be risky See here: http://www.dashtechservices.co.uk/mileagecorrection.htm

I use my G60 as a daily and i've got no complaints. Not awful on fuel and well worth it for the ooomph factor
-
I get 28-30mpg over a whole tank. Thats mainly off-peak town driving so not silly traffic, occasional full-throttle blast where possible!
-
Sad to hear it wasnt enjoyable to own. I'm 2 months into ownership of my G60 and hope it doesnt turn out like this!

Just got back from watching Inception. Absolutley blown away, the complexity of the film was amazing but still presented in an understandable way 10/10
