  1. You need to go into settings and tick the box which says something like 'save a copy of sent messages'
  2. Bollocks! bought one yesterday and hoping it arrives tomorrow. Pm me a price for one and I might have it as a back up.
  3. As above, as well as a large front mounted intercooler. A custom map would get the most out of your set-up, not sure how many places will do it out in the states. For induction I would look at keeping the standard airbox, with a cold air feed from the brake ducts. Open cone type induction kits are prone to heat soak and there is doubts about their filtering ability. Very important on a G!
  4. Hi Stupid me forgot that my passenger door handle doesn't work, and it's MOT time on Thursday!! So has anyone got one for sale, that can be sent Special Delivery tomorrow? Long shot I know but really need to avoid postponing my MOT as that means it will be off the road :( Cheers Dom
  5. Wow this is a really good idea. I have no garage so have to work on my car when the weather is nice! Shame i'm so far away :( Best of luck :thumbleft:
  6. It sure is. Saw a cat back exhaust system in gd nick go for just over a fiver last week!
  7. Does look far too good to break, but it is a difficult market to sell in at the moment. The main money would be had from the supercharger and interior, but it could take months to shift enough bits to make a reasonable amount of money from it. Looks like it might have a stainless exhaust on it as well?
  8. So did anyone watch the qualy?? Fantastic to see F1 back on, and looks amazing in HD. I'm happy to see Mclaren doing well after a dismal winter, really wasn't expecting the pace they had today. Happy to see HRT fail miserably. Harsh I know but to show up to what would have been the 2nd race of the season with an incomplete car is just amateurish, and they don't deserve to be part of F1. Vettel absolutely smoked it! Unbelievably quick, without a proper KERS system too. Provided the new tyres don't caused any major dramas I can see Vettel walking away with this race, and many more in the future. Unless the rumoured 'start-only' KERS becomes Red Bull's downfall. Predictions for the race?
  9. I've just got the starter set, but the expansion set provides a greater range of sizes. Probably only worth buying if you come up against something which doesn't fit any of the starter sockets.
  10. Definitely a good price if it's legit. I paid £24 from machine mart for mine!! :(
  11. Yup, definitely looks like the air temp sensor connector. Take the drivers side brake duct off and have a look for a sensor sticking out of it. Like I say that's where mine is but can't guarantee that is the factory location. If it's not there than you could always get a new one. Can't help with the other connectors though, sorry.
  12. Linky: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Irwin-Bolt-Grip-Remover-394001/dp/B0000CCXVZ Also available at machine-mart if you have a local store. Make sure that set includes the correct-ish size, as there is also an expansion pack. I bought some but have yet to use them in anger, have heard good things though.
  13. This sounds like the ambient air temperature sensor. Has it got two pins? Does your MFA show the outside air temperature? (should be on the 6th click of the MFA button) Your MFA won't show the outside air temp if the temp sensor has been disconnected. It should connect to the sensor found in the drivers side brake duct (or at least mine was) Maybe someone relocated it to measure air box/intake temperature
  14. Just finished wiring in my remote central locking kit. Jesus its awkward to get to the wires! All works ok, including the indicators, just got to tidy up the wires and put back all the trim :(
  15. Have you got an uprated headlight loom fitted? Could be some old/redundant connections after a new loom install. Have you any pictures?
  16. Good find there, haven't been able to get on VAGcat for a while :(
  17. Unless you want to scrape on every bump in the road s 50mm would be best. I hear these are now obsolete, but maybe contact your dealer in case they have any remaining stock near you.
  18. Doesn't sound too good to be honest. I wouldn't drive it any more, as if it lets go it will be beyond repair. Best bet would be to take it out and send it to g-werks, JMC or jabbasport for inspection/rebuild.
  19. Have a look at the buyers guide here: http://wiki.the-corrado.net/the_corrado_buying_guide_checklist.html
  20. It stops warm air that has already been compressed from re-entering the charger. Ideally you want cold air going in as it is denser, and more easily compressable. You also get the whoosh noise which some people like.
  21. I'll look out for that. Thats if I can get them off. Had my tyres replaced and watched them buzz the nuts off the bolts when they put them back on. Then came along with a torque wrench to 'double check'. Guess what? Torque wrench clicked off straight away, might have something to do with buzzing them up to 1,000,000Nm with the gun! Mechanical sympathy is lost on some people...... ^ Might have exagerrated that just a little bit.
  22. Definitely low on space. No garage and small shed isn't ideal for rado ownership :(
  23. Sounds like everything I need then. Might order one at the weekend, the car is shouting out to be lowered! Thanks for all the help guys :thumbleft:
