any body reccomend a decent one? had a bash with halfrauds own brand one about 4 years ago and didnt rate it much.

didnt say it was proof, better to try for yourself and make your own mind up. dont know your driving style or how hard you will push a car, but for me the lighter nose is a winner. heavy nose doesnt do any harm 120+ though ;)

pretty suprised this reply came from yourself to be honest. extra weight upfront comprimises handling. drive a mk2 with a vr lump in, it exaggerates the effects a fair bit, but you will know what im getting at once youve had a go.

egay, hottuning are fair for price, quality is ok. bit of a twat to fit. if your doing it yourself i reccomend taking the front mount off (with a trolley jack supporting the engine) and then lower the engine down to give more access.

indeed, hard to come by a nugget g60, not that many valvers seem to come up for sale too. g60's are capable of around 250 bhp. any more any its more likely to go bang. as with any car it depends how well its been looked after as much as how well the engine was built. satin silver is another fave colour of mine. as said, drive both before you buy. ive had both, hard to say which will be better for you as only you will know. power delivery is very different from a vr to a g60. and sorry 6 pot boys but the vr doesnt handle quite as well as a four pot does.

You can split your no claims if required. So if you have 6 years you chop it into two 3 years instead. Speak with your current insurer about it if it will help, they have to put it in writing for you.

It would be possible to fit one yes, but as above please dont. Its fair to say a good number of people have problems with them, and because of this normally change them for a passat moonroof. Non sunroof c's werent all that common so its worth keeping hold of.

they are straight forward to change. just slide the seat out of the rail and swap them for the new ones. not sure of part numbers but tps will know what you mean.

to be honest the body kit wont help with the sale, majority of good price ones are standard. i think youd be looking around 2k as it stands, bearing in mind they are not selling well at the mo.

it is indeed high miles for a g60, does it have an engine rebuild? pics and spec will help with guessing at a rough value. webuyanycar is a crock of ****, stay well away. breaking is another option worth thinking about....

Vr was a very lazy engine to be fair. Some standard abf's were kicking out closer to 170 than the book quoted 150. Still sound sweet at the magic 4k plus though.

It will want to be 280bhp of it is 4wd, power loss through will take it down closer to 200. Look at how much power scoobies lose. Wouldnt ever buy an rs1 but would like to nail one round a track given the chance to.
