Agree with the earlier comments. 2.8 swap is very straight forward. Im sure someone local will lend you an engine crane and prob a few hours spanner time too. Save your pennies for a 24v once its done, condition looks too good to let it go for £1200. Wouldnt have come from tcs would it?

I used the 90% brighter bulbs from halfords, my arse 90% but def much brighter and whiter. Will pass the four of them on for £20 if wanted.

Loom and bulbs any day, hids are gay! Plus the fact mot testers have been told to crack down on them, instant fail if you have them.

Last i knew you could get a fitting kit for them. Nothing wrong with jabbasports ability to rebuild a charger, they got bad press for other reasons mostly. Id prefer a bbm over an m62 anyday of the week, depends what cash you have to spend

I can do you the top two. Chin spoiler isnt cracked but has a bit of glue residue left here and there from it being wrapped in carbon, will clean up if you can be arsed, looks fine though. Can sort out pics if needed.

Didnt vw use this engine for there 300mpg motor? Didnt produce anywhere near the same power.

For the sort of money its going to set you back youd be better off looking at newer forced induction engines ready made with more ponies.

Sounds quite possible you have a boost leak. Do you still have the plastic silencer box next to the charger? Have a look at the condition of the vac hose from the back of tb to the ecu too.

It will be more of a roar, its basically putting an induction kit on your car. I liked the way it sounds and am much happier letting the engine breathe more. Youll find allsorts of crap sucked into the bottom of the airbox though, worth getting a bit of mesh of egay to stop bigger bits getting in.

As said stick a cold air feed through the bottom where the carbon canister used to go aswell. Haha jim do you not get dickheads in civics with exhausts big enough to fit your head in round your way??

The brembo 305 is a fairly straight forward swap, come up on ebay now and then. Might be worth looking at ap racing, they do bigger brake setups that retain 4 x 100 stud pattern. But both are fairly costly. Your fairly limited to 250 bhp on a g60 or they just kill themselves. G60 turbos can run around 300bhp but arent the most reliable. Not a very heavy car so dont need to go nuts on brake power unless your making a track car. Really id go with new discs and ferodo ds2500 pads, more than enough stopping power.
