late vr6 95-98 are 288mm. they fit over 280mm g60 discs with the 288 carriers but you need banjo type brake lines. bit of a ballache. early vr golf/corrado vr/or g60 carriers/calipers are the easiest option, with g60 discs. -
Granted sexy doesnt come in the description, but pure luxury and amazing build quality. Potentially for a very good price. Not sure if they are still live but they used to have cameras at the plant where they build them.

sorry, i sold the whole car with them on dude! its a g reg golf g60 turned up on ebay a couple of weeks ago in cornwall! haha fook that im having my balls clipped.

no harm in changing suspension at the same time as you will have to take the hub out to press out/in the wheel bearings. best to get a scribe and mark where the strut sits before you unbolt it. possibly will need allignment doing after.

fair game. think i paid £400 for the complete 305 setup in 2007 lol. truthfully worth every penny though. bloody kids! mines here in august, so i no longer have a rado :(

how come you didnt get 305 brembos out of interest? its a more simple option and they stop bloody well.

can you confirm the part number from yours? im coming up with 357 611 019 b but it doesnt list it as abs or non abs, so just want to be sure. it is an ate one, brand new, looking at £70 inc VAT. but would be plus post to ireland.

not sure uf the mk4 does the same as the 6n polo, but was quite common for the feed off the ignition to die when you played with the battery. i bodged birdo's to get hers powered up again, think it was plugging the red into the second connector on the yellow to get round it, but you have to turn it off manually when you get out the car. -
agreed, ignition switch is high on the likely list. coils are utter crap on the 8v's so not a bad thing you changed it. rw1, you clearly have more time on your hands than i do.

They are longer than g60 plugs so should spark better in theory, search google for matey matey g60.

yes it does. its just 16v and 8v that dont mix.

give us a clue chap. what engine for a start? ill guess at a late valver. any symptoms before this? and have you been changing other parts? whip the ht leads off and look for a spark. loosen the pipe that connects to the fpr and see if fuel squirts out. check voltage on battery. take oil filler cap off and look for mayo.....
