  1. i have one, 550mm length i believe. can be had for cheap.

  3. odds are on you will get away with it. your speedo will over read, and the distance at which the cameras operate is very close to the van. you can do the course once every 3 years, its now speed limit + 10% + 9mph, i believe so you would be able to do this if needs be. prob take less than 2 weeks to come through from a mobile van.
  4. not sure if ou have the right bits, i did mk3 288's on mine and they were m10. try earls.co.uk for longer bolts, but better to ring them as alot of things are not listed on the website.

  10. yep its an expensive game but well worth it over the standard corrado one. i would indeed imagine the rad hoses to be different. i only ran a 16v rad on mine for ease of fitting fmic.
  11. Should fit fine and dandy. I assume you have the boost pipes ready, rallye u bend is a life saver for this job.

  17. indeed, rado was easy to park. bora is gash, no idea where the boot is at all :( "extra bit" does look poop.
  18. tough one, they all seem to do it at some point. assuming it is a g60.... check throttle cable, butterfly valve on throttle body, unplug isv/check for buzz with ignition on (likely cause), unplug blue temp sender, check for air leaks on inlet mani. check for damage to vac hoses from throttle body (fairly likely). i have a couple of isv's and have some vac hose in the garage.

  20. ladder ties for the win!! my first mk2 golf used two about every 3 months to keep the exhaust from knocking.

  22. nah, they love an out of date medi kit. just as much as they love a well old ghetto (sp?) blaster to sit in the boot. god jim youre just not scene. please pat yourself on the back.
