i had the same problem with the same company, came up with excuse after excuse. took 6 weeks to come back and they even overcharged me. sad to see they havnt got there act together. hardly suprising they only seem to recieve bad press now.

are you going off known quantities or the mpg on the read out? most 3 cylinders seem to be pretty bad on motorway runs from what ive gathered. but 50mpg is nothing to turn your nose up at, im sure the datsun does a few less :lol:

possibly get away with upper and lower strut braces, but only one way to find out.

not an expert on the subject but fairly sure it will suck donkey dick without one. just a loose wishbone bush and you notice the difference in handling.

yeah they come up every so often. prices are pretty pants on them so not many people selling unless they have to. keep an eye out on here rather than ebay id say. alot of crap examples of most makes of cars seem to end up on there. 2k is a fair budget, should be able to get a fairly tidy one for that. -

some are good some are bad. depends on the owners really. all old cars are likely to come with a few quirks and will need a bit of maintenace doing, but thats the price you pay over splashing out on a brand new motor. hang in there, youll find one. -
skill with added luck indeed. i had a fair few twitchy moments like that in the 200sx it was even worse in the wet but bloody good fun.

thats nothing to get woried about in my opinion, ive seen closer to 140 on a hot day in the g. thats when you start to panick about the heater going pop and dousing you in boiling water :suprised:

early or late? i have headlight and indicators if its early.

ideally you would be looking to replace. if they were starting to go a year ago then odds are on they are ready now. can buy from vw or just buy a reel from a spares place (parkers, gsf etc) if you plan to replace yourself. or go to a mechanic. normally they get covered with a coat of grease or sometimes underseal rather than paint.

If you do go 1.8t then give the agu a miss. Pretty much the worst 1.8t they built, bad on fuel and internal strength isnt great for mods. Bam is the one people go nuts for. Depending on your budget the 2.0t's are starting to show there face now. Would be serioulsy quick and a pretty rare machine.

Cant guarantee it will match up to your 4 branch, but 250 if you just want the exhaust. Will sort out pics if required. Normal oval tail pipe as youd expect.

I have a stainless four branch and a custom full stainless back from that, no cat pipe obviously. Both for sale. Cost over 500. Sounds awesome. Just coming up to a year old but been sat in a garage for a while. Covered around 5k on the car. Want 350 for the pair. Give us a yell if youre intrested. Jim
