I've not driven an S3 but isnt the suspension more sporty than the 4mo? I have a 5 door 4mo and love it. For what I wanted it is perfect... a family car which is a lovely smooth motorway cruiser. But the S3 is probably closer to the G60 experience.

slightly disapointed...Got whooped by a Locust RS

Somewhere on a Ford forum there is an RS owner posting a thread along the lines of... "I was booting it hard and I was really struggling to catch the guy up. I finally managed to do it and as I got close I realised the car I was chasing was nearly 20 years old and with almost half the power of my RS. I was a little disappointed tbh so what can I do to get more power? The fekin thing looked damn nice too... never knew those sciroccos were so capable for their age" -
Thanks again guys. Well Moonlight would be my number 1 preference. There is one for sale on PH right now which I'm thinking of seeing too. As for my top 5: 1) Moonlight blue 2) Mystic blue (but mostly because of the Storm factor) 3) Silver 4) Aqua blue 5) Black Not sure if it's in that order bu you get the gist. Moonlight definitely my favourite though.

Haha that's why I'm asking. There's a few cars up for sale and I don't have a lot of spare time. So would prefer to rule the colours in or out before viewing.

Is it like the typical brownish burgundy you often saw on cars in the 90's? I'm not a fan of that but I'm hoping its a little more unusual than that. Thanks so far.

Jesus that was a rapid response. Thanks :)

Jesus what were some of these people thinking!!

Nice. That's given me some good ideas. Should go well with my 'cyclopse' style dash ;) -
I'm struggling to tell from pictures. Does DBP look dark purple or brown?
-
Nice. I actually have a new, boxed, never been used, only out of the box to check it, solitude (bought in 2003 but car was stolen immediately after) sitting in the loft. Judging by this I must be sitting on a fortune! :D

I'm sitting here drunkenly browsing youtube and have wandered across some of the old skool VW adverts such as the one where the girl throws away her fur coat and ring, then steps happily into a Golf. But I can't seem to find the one for the Golf VR6 that showed someone driving through London to the music of Phil Collins "In the Air Tonight" and a tag line of something like "This beetle has a sting in its tail". Can anyone find it?

Thanks. Nice swift response :)

Four different colours, one on each wheel... "Colour Concept" wheels :D On a serious note I far prefer them standard rather than coloured.
-
Simple question - how much higher do they sit in a Corrado, and can they still be height adjusted?
-
Nice. I've never seen grey recaros before and they work really well.

Surely for such a pain in the arse to fit item you only want to do it once so just get a new one rather than a spare old used one.

Looking forward to seeing the results on this one. Are you retrimming in leather and if so, are you going to match the leather doorcard pattern from standard leather? e.g. the sort or padded stripes in the original leather doorcards, if you know what I mean.
-
I'm actually quite surprised at how many people really like the grey. That's good to hear. I've yet to make my mind up about it but I see the point about breaking up the monotony of black.
-
how come?? steering wheel yes as a OE wheel they are pretty good, slightly prefer it to my BBS one as it feels more chunky gripy etc if you know what i mean, but the side repeaters OH NO NO NO NO lol :D they date the car clear or slightly smoke IMO LOVE those COMP wheels btw Gareth :notworthy: ttfn chris Agree with this. I prefer the OE steering wheel but definitely not the amber indicators.

Thanks for the input so far guys. The reason for asking is just to gauge, should I buy a car with grey interior in the future, would it be a negative point if I came to sell it later. I don't have one in mind but when I buy a house or car, being able to resell easily is one of my criteria. All opinions gratefully received :)

I'm a little jealous to be honest though... I couldn't travel this weekend but if it had still been there next weekend then I'd probably have gone to see it. I love the colour and the air con is a nice bonus. You got a good one there. Enjoy

Very nice. I saw that and thought it was a great deal for the money being asked.

Obviously it's personal preference but how desirable/undesirable is grey leather? How does it look and age compared to black or cream? I've seen a few cars with grey leather and plastics and they seem to hang around a little longer than black. So I wondered what peoples opinion of that colour interior is in a Corrado (having never actually seen grey interior in person).

God that's tempting. A charged 4Mo would be great.
