Can't say fairer than that.

Doh! I worked for them a year and a half ago. Could have got it free if I'd stayed! Weird company to work for though. Quite unlike anywhere else.

Thanks everyone. Work has been extremely busy the last few days (yes including the new year holiday) so I have not had a chance to pm people with payment details yet. I will try to do this during this week or weekend at the latest.

Stunning to be honest.

I'm afer a bit of trim but I'm not sure what it's called. Just beneath the accelerator pedal there is a stop which the pedal hits when you press it down fully. The stop screws into the floor and the upper part is threaded so that a piece of plastic trim screws onto it and also holds the carpet down. I have the stop in place but I've realised the bit of black plastic trim is missing on mine. Does anyone have one for sale?

^^ I bought an unused rear VW badge recently. I can't recall if it was from a seller on here on on ebay. But it did indeed turn out to be thicker at one end and I assume was actually a mk2 badge instead of a Corrado one. I just re-used the original black plastic 'cup' and put the badge in it. It wasn't quite as good a fit to be honest (it sat in the cup perfectly well but the lugs didn't secure it as well). So I also secured it with a thin bead of clear silicone to stop any water ingress behind the badge. Now it's on fine and, as mentioned above, unless you're a concourse judge, you'd be hard pressed to tell it's any different to the original one. It looks the same but just very slightly thicker at one end.

You can buy replica chrome rear Corrado badges from ARZ Tuning in Germany. They aren't quite the same finish as the originals but might be close enough. http://www.arz-tuning.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p2471_Rear-Chrome--Corrado--Badge.html

Just a quick bump for anyone else who may be interested. With 11 people (including me) I plan to go for the £125 yard of track and will put the extra into it myself. So if no-one else wants to join then it will be £10 each as planned for everyone else and I'll start contacting people on Monday to provide my payment details.

Sad to see another one gone :(

Happy New Year! All the best to everyone on here. May you have a lucky, healthy, prosperous year :)

Looking good. I never knew there should be those plastic inserts for the seat belts. Mine are missing too (VR6 not an 8v). I may have to copy your idea :)
-
Lovely. Yes I think engine cover would benefit from being the same colour.

Welcome to the forums. Is that Storm Grey?

Congrats. So cute. I rember holding my daughter in one hand just like that. 8 years later she's just a touch bigger now!

I now really want an original mini.

Ah, that's a very tough one. I'd have to opt for the RS but it's very close and I think you'd be happy with either.

I don't know the answer but a better forum to ask it on may be the XDA Developers forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com).

Pretty sure they may still be available at the dealers. Also available from veedubmachine.

I'm pretty sure OSV's rear Corrado badge is black and it looks great against the silver :)
