Youv`e got enough on ya plate with ya corrado at the mo boost monkey :) never mind a mk1 :)

Went to anglesey circuit today, 1st trip out with the corrado after the brake conversion and suspension bushes replacement, my mate took his evo too :) Great drive down there and to my surprise there was a corrado on the track with some mk 1 golfs too, Spoke to the guy with the corrado his name was Tom from maccelsfield It has a 20valve conversion with a ihi turbo remapped think he said it was pushing out about 370bhp :shock: Went really well round the track flames an all! unfortunately Tom blew the turbo so had to retire early :( Bad Luck Tom.. Shoulda seen them golfs go around the track 8) Here`s some piks

Had the four wheel alignment done today and he feels a lot happier on the road now,nice and solid feel at speed, Had it done at RSE motorsport in llandudno junction jap car specialist, They use a machine called HUNTER cost 30k and apparently the dogs danglies :) Decent guys and did a good job and even commented on how nice the corrado was and the work i have done is good :D £58 all in! here are the results if anyones interested

There is a circlip that breaks, pull the gearstick housing off and you can see it! Do a search on here and you will find its happened to lots on here :)

I am going to try and get my car 4 wheel aligned this coming weekend and was going to take it to an EVO specialist local to me but they will want to know the settings and would welcome any veiws on any revised settings anyone has on there 35mm lowered 16 valve with 17" Rims, or shall i just use the factory settings (which i dont know) It would be nice now i have changed all the front and rear bushes and wishbones and uprated the brakes to get the maximum handling out of the old gal :) any feedback appreciated

It was on ebay! if it was the one i was looking at, they wanted £7750 for it, was going to have a look as im after an investment like a storm but you beat me to it :) Looked a nice one, Fair dos to you, Bet your made up!

You need to charge it with a trickle charger as the alternator only holds the power that is in the battery originally and yours was probaly dead after six weeks.

Have found the problem :D Cold start Valve! When i remove the connection it starts when hot :? Obviously overfueling! does anybody know how the valve actually works ? is there a sensor or is it something to do with the WUR, As i dont want to start buying all sorts of things an find out its just a temp sender or something?

Spent a few hours trying different things testerday, seem to be getting a spark ok and pulled a injector out aswell and theres fuel spray there too! Is there anything that aids starting when hot like higher fuel pressure as im lost now! Looks like im going to have to take it to somewhere to check fuel pressure and the like, So annoying when it starts and runs fine when its its cold and you can even stop and start it several times untill it reaches running temp then it just wont start again untill cold :? :help: Anyone

Went to test drive a 147 GTA 3.0 V6 250bhp, to see how it compared to my S3, Really was a lot more involving to drive and tidy handling and a more aggresive looking car than the fat arsed S3 but you couldnt keep it in a straight line, the torque steer was unreal, A real crazy but exciting hatch to drive, Didnt feel that much quicker than the audi though and no four wheel drive or solid build quality and the plasticy interiour reminded me of an old XR3i :shock: Theres something about those Alfas though :norty:

Any more ideas on this please! Nothing worse than a corrado with all new bigger brakes and suspension bushes that ya just cant drive :(

I hope your going to do before and after pics :) Should look good on your corrado its a credit to you. I Will ring them tomorrow i think, Still a bit nervous about driving fast with spacers on though i must admit..

Andy, Rang AC Motorsport Services today and they said i had to check the depth of the rear spigot on the disc which measures roughly 15mm, did you have to do this? also i think 20mm on the back and 15mm front, what combination did you use! hope they will fit over my OZ 17 Rims..

Was only thinking this myself andy when i finally got her off the axle stands, can you get spacers for 17inch Rims..

After finishing renewing all the suspension rubbers and rear bushes and replacing the puny 16v brakes with 280mm jobbies and grooved discs im feeling all pleased but now have to tackle the running issue i have, This started last year at the malvern 3 counties show the car doesnt want to start hot and just turns over but is alright untill it reaches about 80deg oil temp then it just wont start untill its cold again, I have checked to see if i have a spark and i do so im assuming its a fuel issue even though i cant smell any fuel, I was wondering wether its a pump problem? Any other ideas would be helpfull (wheres davidwort) :) I want to get the car back on the road now ready for the shows so if anyone knows any valver hot starting quirks Thanks :)

All my Goodies should be here in the morning and need to know torque settings for wishbones and so on, does anybody know where i will find them or does any kind person have them on here :) Ive been off today so spent the day in the garage stripping everything down and looking forward to the shiny bits coming hopefully tomorrow :)
