ok the exhaust itself was £266.70, I think you could probably get it cheaper but demon tweeks is only 45 minutes away for me

Well was going to sell thee old Girl but my better judgment has made me decide to keep her, so to make me feel better ive spent a few Quid £684.93 to be precise :roll: I bought a Milltek system, K&N panel fiter and four toyo proxis 1s, I went to demon tweeks for the exhaust and filter and the tyres from a local guy called tyres to you he`s mobile so fits them wherever you want the tyres were £250.00 which i thought were cheap for 205/40/17s he is fitting them monday, Demon Tweeks were great good service and friendly guys that were genuinly interested in corrados everybody seemed to be looking around the car as if they had never seen one before 8) I wasnt expecting a great improvement on performance on the journey home but you can feel the difference straight away and the sound from these exhausts is great not noisy on the inside but a nice meaty sound with the window down, All in all im very pleased with the result just need a few more engine mods i think to complete the package :) Here is a pic of the tailpipe

Ive been thinking about putting a new set of tyres on the corrado as it looks like im going to be keeping her a while longer 8) Im currently running on 205/40/17s and wonder if i could run 205/50/17s or would they foul the arches as the cars lowered using eibachs approx 30mm, any ideas :? cheers

Anyone know anything about TDI golf iv`e been thinking about buying one for the missus to use as an everyday car she`s going to be doing a lot of miles soon and wants something reliable but iv`e been out of the Golf seen for a while and don`t know the specs thinking of spending about seven grand but theres the 110, 130, 150 even Recaro trim alsorts of specs anyone know of any sites that i can go on.. cheers

Went to chester this morning to look at this car, To be fair it was in mint condition must have been garaged all its life, A bit optimistic on the price though :lol: . It had a weird interiour too it was grey fleck but the seats wern`t even sports seats they wouldv`e looked more at home in a 1.0 L cl polo :lol: and the rear seat had no arm rest either :? Phill k the MR2 is faster than my corrado! but only when im behind the wheel :lol: But it should be with 170bhp but you would never catch the corrado on the twisty bits, Its lethal in the wet (back end) and its not a VW 8) Good fun though :evil:

Just been to kingston in london today and saw only two corrados in 600 miles, Just shows how rare they are , On the way home i saw a nice black G60 in the outside lane of the M40 being chased by a V6 4 Motion around 4 pm Anyone here ??? :wink:

I think my isv is playing up, the revs dont seem to drop quick enough and the thottle has a mind of its own :? any ideas please :?: I have heard you can clean them as a short term fix, If not does anyone know how much they are new. cheers

I wouldn`t say the VR6 is one of the worst handling cars ever :? And Slug :? As i said The "Golf" wouldn`t come near the corrado IMHO :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

This Golf GTI was once my pride and joy, even had it featured in VW Motoring until it fell out with a 38 tonner. Can you believe my wife, son, brother, and sisterinlaw were all in this car when as she was stopped at a set of traffic lights a 38 ton truck hit her from behind at 35MPH amazingly they all walked away with minor cuts and bruises the police were amazed no one was killed and the recovery truck driver said good job it was a VW :D

Never mind all this talk about golf verses corrado :? The proof of the pudding is in the eating as they say, I have owned a VR6 Golf with modded suspension and i now own a 1.816v corrado with mildly modded suspension and can honestly tell you the Golf wouldn`t come near the corrado on any road and especially on a track, I can point the corrado at any Roundabout and come out the other end beaming like a cheshire cat as all us corrado owners know 8) END OF STORY :lol:
