  1. Always the the way Rog . Nice run for stormy though , blown some cobwebs out .
  2. Good up date ! . Well done for getting it sorted . I know what you mean about torching it lol , when I could not sort out my starting issue I came close to it .
  3. Maybe it's the magic of science these days ? I just cannot see how you can wipe away mud or grit etc , without it scratching .
  4. As long as he leaves the T4 alone he will be ok lol .
  5. Thanks for the offer Phil , but ive already sorted some , they are painted and ready to fit . Kind regards Rob
  6. Very nice seeing all these parts all powdercoated and fitted . cant wait to finish mine .
  7. I posted a similar product last year , a JML one . Can you imagine what this would do !!! . I'd like to see it actually work , while I was watching someone use it , or try it on an old panel .
  8. Can you not use mitre mate and glue it back together ? I used it to repair mine .
  9. Not your usual rubbish ? Is he saying he normally sells crap , or usually , Corrados are crap ? .
  10. Just seen the updates on this thread , it's coming on great Phil , well done sir .
  11. Great work on the DBP , well done , I'm doing mine in the summer .
  12. Cracking job there Darren , the paint looks fantastic .
  13. You can gently move the slot that opens on the top , it's on a spring . Also use electrical cleaner on the plug and isv end . Like Jim says , it's worth getting another one too .
  14. I think it is the only place yes . It will be difficult to find a good condition second hand pair , they are made to fit tight and that makes them difficult to remove without bending them .
  15. Sorry if I've missed it , but has the isv been cleaned and checked it's working properly ? . If not remove it , and clean it with carb cleaner . Also check the damper box at the back of the throttle body . Sometimes the foam is a bit sketchy and if bits come loose they will cause problems . Make sure the isv is completely dry before re fitting . Also check all vac hoses around the throttle body , it's around an hours work , if that . If all the hoses are removed you can check for splits and holes . Keep at it , compared to the problems some of us have had this is very minor .
  16. Keep up the good work , I used the dishwasher for cleaning parts too ! . Lol the same thing happened to me with the power steering pump , I filled it but not all the way , I forgot that a five minuet drive will sort out the noises . I started the car up ; I had replaced the sump gasket too) and this horrible noice started , I couldn't switch the car off quick enough !
  17. Welcome along . Good attitude for willing to travel and find the right car . If you are willing to spend as much as that on a Corrado , you will be looking at the top end , as others have said . They are increasing in value all the time now .Plenty of help and info on the forum , so any niggles you may come across can be ironed out . Good luck with your search .
  18. Lovely work Goldie , the underside looks fantastic , it really inspires me to do mine . I won't be going as far as you have though . Brake and fuel lines will be cleaned and most parts replaced. I don't have a garage only a drive so it will have to wait until all the parts are bought , then it's going to a friendly mechanic with a lift , so all the parts can be fitted without to much of a struggle . I don't care how well it's jacked and supported , I don't like being underneath a car lol . . Keep up the good work .
  19. Welcome along to the forum . A very rare colour indeed . Looking forward to seeing updates on the car .
  20. Really , you learn something new every day !. Good info Dox .
  21. Sean , that's the ones I could not think of , thank you . Jamie ,Dox , thanks for the info , very useful . My mate works for kwikfit and takes the car to work on MOT days , so pretty friendly when it comes to the niggly bits , I have another tester I use too , equally as friendly lol .
  22. What was the company or make that most people use for the bearings Sean ?
  23. Some great work going on here Sanky well done .
  24. I purchased a nineties cassette player with cd changer in the boot from Chris Langers . What did I find in the changer ? , a romantic ballads cd ! What girl lol .
