  1. Not that i know him ,but yeah he is still around . You just jogged my memory that we have not had an update in a while .
  2. Welcome back . Looking forward to the pics . And yes where has James gone ?
  3. What , one of "those" messy weekends ? . Keys in a basket at butlins lol .
  4. I only hope they can be made at a reasonable cost . They were only £4.00 or thereabouts from the steelers . But at the time of production they would have been made on a press knocking them out all day long . These will be have to be made by hand now .
  5. Looking into this now Goldie. I went to see a bloke I do plastering for , who has a engineering business . As soon as the one arrives from TPS , I will drop it into him to look at costings .
  6. Welcome along . A few pics of the car would be great . Great forum , great people , great advice !
  7. Hi mate , I did a job for a bloke that makes hoses . He was showing me the sets he makes , different colours ect . They look very good quality . He was saying they make them for any car , bike , any fit for any make really . I have his business card if you want the no ? Rob
  8. One review says , "my engine runs better than before " . That's some oil cap .
  9. The only ones they have are non abs now Si . deleted in may . I found 1 at a tps branch in Ireland !
  10. Heritage said they were deleted in May . Tps don't have any . I managed to find one and that is from Tps in Ireland ! . If there is any interest , I may go to a local firm and see if they could reproduce these . Rob
  11. I could Jon , but as you can see in the pic , they ain't great . I will clean up what's left of them and treat them with something .
  12. This part is no longer available . Is it possible to fit everything without this part? Obviously it's there for a reason , but is it essential ? . Many thanks Rob
  13. The VR is a big lump , but that looks huge sat there !
  14. Thanks Jon . I will have to speak to Andy , as he says that they are for the VR ? .
  15. Ok thanks Chris . Will return them . Where did you get your set from ? , these were from heritage . Rob
  16. I ordered these along with some sets of bolts that i needed for my refurb on my VR . On offering them up to the axle they look as if the caps are going to snag on the bolts that hold the stub axle on ?. In the pic you can see the difference between the two . Or has the original rotted away that much and the new one is what it would have looked like ?. That still wont explain why they seem to snag on the bolts though and seem to be a loose fit on the axle . Any info would be great . Many thanks Rob
  17. Getting stuck in straight away then ! Well done . Looks a nice straight car . Looking forward to the updates .
  18. Well I gave it a go . With a little gentle persuasion the pins came out , with no damage . A little bit more than gentle persuasion the bushes came out too, happy days .
  19. I have been told by two people now , that you get grease supplied with these when you buy them . Apparently I might stand a chance of pulling the rubbers out of the hole , who knows , I will give it a go . I saw my friendly mechanic today , he said he has a puller to get them out , so if I fail I will take it down to him . Rob
  20. Thanks Rog , no worries , I will get it sorted one way or another .
  21. No your right David lol . Sorry it looks like two rubber bushes . Not the metal incased bush .
  22. Ok Chris , I will have a think on what to do . Rob
  23. Ok thanks Sean . I do have some oem bushes as I ordered them before I got the beam . I will see if I can get them pressed out otherwise I will do as Chris says and fit the Corrado bushes .
