  1. Bet Your looking forward to that , looking forward to seeing this car one day .
  2. Nice one Rog , what did you part with for that ? Rob
  3. I'm going to try these two insurers . Mines up in April . I pay £280 with performance direct , £5000 agreed value , 3000 miles , mods and I'm 45 this year . Rob
  4. Thanks Paddy , maybe the fitting of late leather door cards to a 92 car ? I will be investigating soon . Rob
  5. Mmmmmm, have to agree , not saying its Tomi's fault , but as said this sort of thing happends when selling on behalf of someone else .When the part is sold and they have their dough they forget all about telling other places its advertised for sale ,that its sold .Then people get the hump and rightly so .
  6. The fuel will come through yes . But how much of the old stuff was in there ,any idea ?. I dont know how little crap fuel it takes to ruin the new stuff ?. This was why i said to empty the tank . Try pumping it through until it smells like it should do .
  7. Fuel will definitley go off if its left for that length of time . Rob
  8. That's a bummer mate ,it's always the way , something comes up at a good price and you don't get it , a month later you need it ! . I have a crank sensor if you want it , no charge mate . Rob
  9. How much for the top section of the handbrake cover if black and fixings are good Thanks Rob
  10. Total cost was around £180.00 mate . It would have been cheaper but i ordered the hoses from a different place and vdubmachine was cheaper .
  11. I have two sets of them Paddy , just find them a bit difficult to fit ,unless im missing a trick . The door pin that attaches to the door rod ends up to tight against the leather door cards .
  12. I would be interested in these too Rob
  13. Only a little update. Rear brake conversion parts all ordered .I have a neighbour who works for kwik fit, so it makes sense to give him all the mk4 stuff ,fit it and do the mot at the same time . Also i will be getting a 90s Kenwood headunit from Chris Langers , although i love the VR6 sound track it will be nice to have some tunes in the car , i have not had a unit in there for nearly three years now .Hopefully booking the mot for this weekend , but only if all the bits turn up this week , otherwise it will be next weekend , although with this pants weather theres no rush . Also fitted the top part of the handbrake tunnel i got from Mr Clumpy [thanks mate]. As said after that its off to the paint shop for a little work . Then if i cant get the plastic joiners that hold the door rods on i will take it to Devon dub shack to sort it , there are a few interior issues that need attention . He has a mate thats taken half the workshop over and specialises in t4 /t5 conversions . Its not that i have not tried to sort the issues , but im not happy with some of the plastics , the way they are fitted . I just cant seem to get them to sit right . Im to ocd for my own good sometimes !, but the little things really niggle me . Rob
  14. As Jon says . One of the sensors may have gone .
  15. Yeah just check for fuel at the rail , also if you have run it dry , it would be worth changing the filter as well . Rob
  16. There was a recent problem on here with old fuel causing starting difficulties . How old is the old fuel . If you suspect its too old get rid . Once the fresh fuel is in , try again . The thread im talking about also mentioned the old fuel coating the plugs , so new plugs were fitted , im not sure how old fuel would damage the plugs and why a little wire brushing could not clean them up but there you go .If you have fuel and a spark it would be worth checking the work you have just compleated ,before looking at other options . Im not saying you have not done it right , just worth a look over . Rob
  17. This is looking very nice now . Pat on the back sir .
